I am a student living in Melbourne, Australia. 

My characters are fictional, but some are closely based on people I know.   I hope that people can recognise a friend or family member, or even elements of themselves in my stories; I like to write about relevant things that you can relate to.  I like good dialogue and subtlety. 

I prefer to write late at night with a cup of tea, but I'm always listening out for strangers' conversations.  And particular songs can really hit a nerve when I'm writing; I have a whole soundtrack that helps with writer's block. 

As yet, I haven't shown my novel to anyone.  How strange that it's going on the internet now.
