Chapter 8: Siva's Absolutely Bonkers! (lolwtf)

"Hey." I smiled at Bailey as she made her way down the stairs in some of my old clothes. Traces of chocolate syrup still in her hair.

She winked at me and smiled "What's cookin', good lookin'?"

I rolled my eyes at her cheesy line, "You have to help me clean the kitchen, oh master of messes. I could have sworn I heard her say "I'll show you who the master is..." but shrugged it off. She told me before she was glad I was in a relationship - not like she'd try to sabotage Jaydine and I...right? Throwing a towel at her, I soaked mine and attempted to clean the drying syrup off the cabinets, table, and floor.

I stood up when my knees started getting sore. Bailey looked...lost. "You okay?" I was genuinely concerned, throwing the rag in the sink.

She nodded solemnly and smiled "Fine..."

I didn't believe but knew her well enough she didn't want to talk about it.

What happened next is something I could not even comprehend. STILL can't comprehend it. One minute I was wiping the sundae toppings off my kitchen the next Bailey had me pinned against the fridge. She held me in a lips lock like no other - one we never shared before. This was wrong - so SO wrong, but I couldn't...wouldn't stop her. I returned the kiss, my eyes closing slowly while I felt the familiarty of her breath and tongue in mine. This couldn't hurt - could it? No different than a light, short kiss on the lips between friends.

When she grabbed the top of my pants and tried unbuttoning them I had to stop. "Bailey!" I was out of breath, pushing her off quickly but lightly. My heart broke into what I thought to be billions of pieces when I noticed tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh, Bailey..." I sighed, trying to give a reassuring smile "Bailey please don't cry..." I whispered, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"I miss you, Siva! I need you back - please!" she was whimpering; practically choking at the same time.

Now I could feel myself shaking. This wasn't fair! We were past the emotional stage - we were friends, JUST friends! But my heart was breaking with every tear that rolled down her face. "Bailey, please..." I was hoarse with emotion, holding back my own tears "Bailey please don't cry..." I kissed her lightly just once. "I love you, I do...but you have to understand, I..." that was all I could mutter before we were locked again, this time by my doing. Damn it...
