~~It was morning now. Everybody who showed up was furious at there being no feast at all. And now they were all leaving the Honeycomb and going home, much to the embarrassment of Hyzenthlay and Blackberry. All their apologies weren't enough to lighten the mood and spirit of the guests. Most agitated, however, were the hedgehogs, whom Yona herself had gotten all worked up for it. Her apologizing to them personally only seemed to anger them more. Hyzenthlay wanted more than anything to give her most sincere apologies to everyone, but couldn't find all the words she hoped for.
"Thank you all for coming… But I wish we had food." she said. "I wish…" Her tone dropped to a point that all she was doing was talking to herself. "…I wish Hazel was here."
Then, from out of the sky came a very familiar voice. "We're home! We're back!" Keehar came straight down past Hyzenthlay and into the snow. He went so far in that nobody could see him anymore. At length, he stuck his head out and looked around.
"You found them!" cried Hyzenthlay with uncontrollable glee.
"Find dem? I bring dem home!" Keehar laughed. "Like I promise!"
Hyzenthlay, Blackberry, and Tharsin all turned around to see the silhouette of Hazel on the edge of the down. And from behind him, one at a time, came Bigwig, Fiver, Hawkbit, Dandelion, Buttercup, Brudinal, and a few other Maze Warren rabbits, all of them carrying some article of food.
"Didn't I tell you they'd be back?" squealed Tharsin very happily.
"We should've known you were right, Tharsin." said Blackberry. Tharsin ran up to Bigwig and tackled him to the ground.
"You've come back!"
"Was there ever any doubt about it?" said Hazel through his laughter.
