CHAPTER 10: IDEAS
(Irina’s Point Of View)
I looked at the barn before I looked back at Raoul. He had his arms around me and I was on his lap. With my head on his shoulder, I sighed and he asked me, “you’re not happy.”
“No. There isn’t enough. We should’ve got that blonde girl as well.” I answered harshly.
“I know. She’s been around Fred and Haylynn a lot. There wasn’t a way that we could taken them down. We didn’t have enough people to watch the others, get the girl, and battle Haylynn and Fred,” Raoul said as I looked down at the ground beneath me.
The guards were walking around, making sure that the hostages were still in the barn, others were hunting, and others were just fooling around, but they didn’t come anywhere near us.
“And it’s not like we can’t get them now. The Cullens have heavy security,” I said, “Unless we can make a distraction that can get all of them out of the house. They wouldn’t let that girl or Emily go with them.”
Raoul nodded and he said, “But I think that Fred and Haylynn should join us. Don’t you think?”
I smiled.
“Oh yes. They’ll get what’s coming to them. They’ll regret leaving us.” I hissed.
“Fred could be tough to handle,” Raoul considered.
“We’ll need to get him by surprise.” I answered.
Raoul smiled.
“The only thing that is really getting to me is where they could’ve hidden Renesmee. She obviously has to be with the Cullens somewhere because Jacob is there and there isn’t a way that he could be away from her.” I answered.
“We’ll check the house the next time we go there.” Raoul said.
“We still need a distraction.” I said.
“Don’t worry Irina. We’ll get one.” Raoul promised me and he turned my face so that we could kiss.
I stared at him and he stared back at me. I couldn’t help but miss Laurent, but Raoul was with me now. I liked being here with him.
But I could tell that something was wrong with him.
