It was the first day back to school after the summer holiday, I drove to school in my blue Mini.
When I arrived at school I parked my car in the empty space at the end.
I got out my car and saw my 2 best friends, I have more friends but I normally just hang out with them.
I spoke to Gabby but Sara was talking and walking in to the school.
“Hi, Gabby!”
“oh, hi Tina, how was your summer?”
“It was GREAT!” I said with a smile “How was yours?”
“Mine was rubbish”
“oh, well, it’s nice to see you again! I’ll catch you later”
I hurried inside because the bell had just rung, I found my locker and I put my bag in and emptied it. I felt a tap on my shoulder, so I turned round and it was Ruby. Ruby was my other best friend.
“Hey, Ruby!”
“Hi Tina! How are you? And by the way call me Rubes for now!”
“Oh, ok Rubes! Well I’m great, and you?”
Just after I finished my sentence, a teacher came in to the hall way and told everyone to hurry up and get to there home rooms. I stared at Rubes and she stared back.
“Who was that?”
“I have no idea!” I turned away to my locker.
Rubes was still standing in the same spot with her head facing the floor and didn’t move a muscle.
I turned around “Is something wrong?” I asked Rubes.
She looked up at me
“I just remember something really important I have to tell you”
“Well, then tell me Rubes!”
“I’m moving to Australia and today I just came to tell everyone” Her head slowly went down.
“Oh, well, I hope you have fun and make lots of friends, I hope you come to visit!”
“I’ll miss you so much!”
“SAME!”
We hugged and then the teacher came out again and shouted hurry up.
Tears were running down our faces and then she started to walk out the school, then we waved at each other.
