"Well, here we are." my dad said as our plane started its desend into merry old London.
"I can't believe this shit." my twin brother Aaron said. "I never wanted to come here." I felt the same way. My dad was an important American ambassador for the Ministry of
Magic. We were living happily in Manhattan, attending The New York School of the Magical Arts. Until Dad got transferred. Now me and my
brother will be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I sighed as my dad nudged me.
"Nikkie, I won't be able to take you guys to platform 9 3/4, but don't worry. I've already contacted the headmaster and he's going to have
someone waiting to greet you."
"Yippie. I just love being uprooted and dragged to some weird country were I don't know anybody. I didn't want to move, Dad. You had no
right. No right at all!"
"Nikkie, shut up and stop being so dramatic! I had no choice. It's my job. There's a really big problem going on and they need the extra help.
Even from overseas. Besides, you have your brother. And your cousin, Veronica is going to be there. Rememeber how sad you were when she
transfered?" I did miss my cousin. We were always close growing up, even if she was a few years older than me.
"Your right, Daddy. I do miss her. It's just, it's a whole different country, and I'm already labelled weird in America. I don't need to be weird in
England, either."
"Your not weird, sweetheart. Your extrordinary." my dad said as he messed up my hair. "And that goes for you too, Aaron." My brother
laughed. "Well, let us be off this miserable plane. You don't want to miss your train." Me and my brother groaned.
