My Joy,
My Strength,
My pain,
My sorrow.

You are my weakness,
And my bliss.

Your pain is my pain,
Your happiness is my contentment.

You are my calling on this earth,
And I am your guardian angel,
Called to protect you.

I fight with the shadows,
I fight against your nightmare’s,
But how can I protect you from the horror of myself?

You should be allowed to live a normal life,
Without my interference,
I should not be the one you will say “Yes” to.

Run!
My only thought to protect you.
Stay,
My one hopeless whish,
To be able to make you happy myself.

But I know the path your future will take you on,
You will find an enchanting man,
Whether it is here in this luckless town,
Or it is far from home.

He will pursue you,
He will want to court you,
And one day you will be walking down the aisle towards him,
Dressed in white,
On your father’s arm.

No I cannot hid my obsession for you,
Nor can I longer hid my fluttering heart,
In my once empty rib cage.
But I can hid,
I can pretend,
That I am not drowning in your intoxicating presence,
I can pretend to skate on the thin ice my life has started to become,
I can walk on the high tightrope,
This tragic love story is making me walk.

I will go to the ends of the universe,
Just to make your future right.

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.
