Blind Eyes of the World

Poetry By: lovepoetryandbooks
Fan fiction

My poem is about what has happened to the world. I talk about how the world has turned from nature and has become independent on civilization. That nature has not left the world, that it is here, it's just that people don't notice. Hope you like it.

The wind blows softly

Like a chime from a bird.

A whisper in my ear,

As my eyes create a tear.

Such a beauty in the world,

As waves crash on the shore.

I thought that mankind

Was built up on lust,

That it was fueled by hatred

By cries and lies.

That it was tainted

Worse than hell,

But the world has not succumbed

It never did.

Are eyes were just blind

Not looking straight

They were turned to the side

To the civilization below

And not above

To the place

Where shangri la lay.

This is what makes me weep

For we were blind,

And I am the only one

With open eyes.

The one who see's this heaven

This peace of domain .

Now I am gone

Far from this world

With secrets unwhispered

Will anyone have the power to tell?

Before the world destroy's itself

With it's wrath and fears.
