Once I dreamt to attend a school,
For Withches and Wizards and not for a fool.
Platform nine and three quarters, Hogwarts Express
5972, Hogsmead? Depressed.

Ickle firsties, enter the castle
Come on forward, not in a hustle
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff,
Slytherin or Ravenclaw
Don't know where I'll be sorted to,
Not even you, no one knows

Teachers, schoolmates, prefects and roomies,
Moving portraits, Filch and Norris,
Floating ghosts, dark forest,
Wandering corridors, time to rest.

Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions Subjects,
Transfigurative lessons, Flying Objects.
Library, Great Hall, Common Rooms and grounds,
Hogsmead, Diagon Alley and not on out of bounds.

A flying game, a sport named Quidditch,
One Quaffle, two bludgers, and one golden snitch,
A game for wizards, a game for witches,
A game for power, a game for riches.

Once that school had been attacted by You-Know-Who,
It had a big battle, 13 years ago.
A brave and noble duty, presented by a boy
A boy who lived twice, with the school's greatest joy.
