The sweet sting of regression
Sensation that trips the mind
The ruby red blood flowing steadily
It's mesmerizing,
It's satisfying
Getting dizzy slowly
The blade becoming heavy in my hand
The perfect fit
For the pain in my heart to go away
My fingers caress it
Gliding over the cool, hard metal
My eyes dance as i watch
It feels as if i'm getting high
The cuts grow darker, deeper
They raise then fall to a drip
I brush them with my trembling fingers
They feel like proof
Of love, experience, pain
They feel like my life
That it's not here nor there
And i watch the ruby red drops
On the shiny polished floor
Make it stop, come back
Give me my life, that you took it away
Love, smiles, hope
Give me a reason to go on
To wake from this
never ending nightmare
My lips quiver, a tear runs away
Becoming free of me
Of love, experience, pain
This is what has become of me
They feel like my life
Even if in this life i don't want to be
As the dream goes on
As a bright star
keeps falling
Lighting my way
To the never ending black abbeys
My life.....
