Tales Of The Great Forest: Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins.
"Wait. You want me to go and risk everything for a reward that might not even be there?" That was the general response, and it made sense. The quest he the quest giver had been sent to find participants for was in a riddle and no reward was offered. "Though now," He thought. "I might have found a willing group."
He had been directly told to recruit young adventurers, though the group of six that had come didn't look all to excited. "So," The first to speak was a Black Dragon who had 'folded' herself up to somewhat resemble a human, and who was wearing a long, black coat. "Are you going to tell me why I'm wasting my time on this?" "Yes, yes I am." He pulled out the piece of paper that had the riddle for the quest written on it and read: "Find the fire that flies in Pieces last days, then into the forest, and through the Dark Maze, be the wandering bard in the land of the scarred."
When he was finished, he put the paper back and looked at the group of six, each of which wore a puzzled, promising expression. "What the hell does is that supposed to mean." Said a male scruffy looking, tan, Halfling-Cat. "I think that is what we're supposed to figure out." Replied a the dwarf that was there, he didn't have a hat though, which was odd for a dwarf. "One would be able to figure it out if weren't their so much noise." The Elf said coolly, she was a pretty thing, as most elves are, but talked in a different kind of dialect. "I just wanna know when we're gonna decide whether 'r not to go." Said the human, she talked in a strange way, as most humans do. "So, are we going to accept? We're kind of mostly in this together now." Pointed out the Daemon, she looked like a Light-Daemon with her fair hair and light-colored clothes.
"I believe," The quest giver said. "Is that you should make your decisions now." He was nervous, as this quest had been turned down by quite a few others, Luckily for him, the general reply was yes.
