WHAT THE FUCK.

Fuck you R. R. Martin, killing off the most likeable character and shit. I heard that you are cold-blooded in regards to your characters but god damn Eddard Stark was such a badass. He needed to have more of an impact, but then again I kind of like it because its so unexpected and the killing of main characters is so underdone. Bravo and go to hell

Anyway, this book is freaking amazing. Not gonna lie, better than Tolkiens books by a mile. The gritty realism and the captivating storyline is what gets ya. This is hard fantasy at the peak. The book never lets up, it grabs you and forces you to keep turning, then the end is probably on of the best cliffhanger endings ever. It makes you immediatly want to grab Book 2, A Clash of Kings (I am currently reading it)

Im not gonna go too in depth here but a kicker is you get emotionally attached to some of these characters. So when Martin kicks you in the ballas and kills them, you really don't like it. (Besides Ned, King Robert is really the only other main character who dies. A couple others are killed like Jory but they are not as important)

On the flip side, the characters who are supposed to be disliked, you dislike them greatly. The little shot Joffrey, and basically all of the Lannisters just start to piss you off, while you keep rooting for the Starks, who are awesome.

Two great things you wouldn't think would be great: Multiple P.O.V.s and three major branching plotlines as well as interwoven subplots. They are all intertwined to masterfully that you just begin to love it, though you may prefer one over the other (the 3 main plots: The civil war in the kingdoms, The strange things happening in the Night Watch, and the travels of Daenarys Targaryen. I like Daenarys the best myself. Because Dragons)

That was an uber quick spoilerific talk of what happened and why it was cool

CHARACTERS WHO I THINK WON'T DIE:

Jon Snow

Sansa

Arya

Tyrion

Daenarys

Stannis

Bran

Petyr AKA Littlefinger

CHARACTERS WHO I THINK WILL DIE:

Joffrey

Jaime

Tywin

Robb

Catelyn

Varys

WHATS GONNA BE IMPORTANT?:

Obviously Daenarys and her dragons, as well as the comet

What Jon and the watch find beyond the wall (The Others, probably)

Joffreys death. He will die. I can feel it

Robb and Catelyns deaths. Im sure they'll be dead too

Bran. Last surviving male Stark

I predict a time lapse. Bran, Sansa, and Arya will have grown, as well as the 3 Dragons
