Book Review: Fallen by Lauren Kate
Review by: Vitrescent

Page Count: 452
Genre: Fantasy, Romance
Summary:
There's something achingly familier about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at Sword & Cross boarding shool in Savannah. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are screwups, and security cameras watch every move.
Except Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret... even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page-turning thriller and the ultimate lovestory.
Review:
Fallen, is about a teenager who is sent to boarding school for being a suspect of murder. When she meets Daniel she feels like shes known him forever. I enjoyed thisbook fromfront to back, and Lauren Kate makes a never before seen storyline come to life in her writing. In the beginning of the story, it reminded meof Twilight, but towards the middle of the story there is an unexpected twist. Fallen builds suspense and leaves you wanting more. This story consists of a dark and forbiddenromance of two lovers.
Recommendation:
I would highly recommend this book to female teenagers 13+
If you like fantasy and dark mysteries then this is definitely the book for you!
Rating:
10 out of 10 (honestly)
