The Scariest Thing That Ever Happened To Me: By: Sezan Vahpieva

One summer day I and my friend decided to have a sleepover in her house. Her house was very far from my house, and it took me a long time to get there. I've never been to her house before, and I was very excited. When I got there, my friend was waiting for me near the gates.

First she decided to show her house. We walked outside, and I saw that there was a large forest near it. Then we walked inside. The house was huge, it had three floors, and an inside pool. My friend made a mini excursion for me, and I just loved her house. After that, we had an awesome lunch with her family, and then we had fun.

When it was already getting dark, my friend showed me the room where I would sleep. It was on the second floor, it was tidy and beautiful. We didn't sleep till it was 1am. Then both of us went into our rooms.

I was trying to sleep, when I heard a voice which was very sweet and it was very familiar to me. It was very strange, because I didn't understand where the voice was coming from. I jumped from my bed and switched the lights on.

Then the voice said "Follow me, follow me…………"

By then I was very scared. I didn't see anyone. I didn't know where the voice was coming from. After that I started to loose my mind. I didn't understand what I was doing.

The voice said again "Come with me, and I will take you to a wonderful place"

The voice started to estrange to the corridor. I couldn't control myself, and I followed the voice. It brought me to the forest. Only by then I could understand where I am. I was standing in the middle of the dark forest, and the voice disappeared. I didn't know why or how I came here. Now I was walking back to the house. It was very dark and I almost didn't see anything. Suddenly I made a step, and I felt that I was falling down. I was very scared, and I screamed.

I landed on something hard. I looked around, and I realised I was in a very dirty and smelly place. I wanted to go back to the house. I searched for the hole which I fell through, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I was afraid of being in this place, because I was all alone. Then I walked through the room, and I heard some footsteps. I turned around and guess what I saw! Thousands of creepy animals and insect were coming towards me. There were dogs, enormous spiders, worms and other disgusting objects. I tried to run away, but the animals were coming from every corner. After a second there was an army of animals, and they were going to eat me!!!

The thing that I am scared of the most in this life is DOGS. And they were coming to me. I really don't know why I am scared of dogs. I have had cynophobia since I was a child. I tried to run, but the dogs chased me. I was scared to death and I almost fainted. I fell down and the creatures were scrambling on my body. I could feel their legs moving, and it was terrible! I think I was already dying from fear, but I suddenly heard that voice, and it made me feel alive. Now I had strength to stand up. I saw millions of animals staring at me.

Then the voice said "If you want to get out of here, follow my instructions."

I really wanted to get out of this creepy place. Now I looked at all animals, and I was already not that scared of them. The animals were chasing me, while I followed the voice which said "Go right and go left."

After five minutes there were no animals at all, and I was still following that voice. Another five minutes later, I was already standing in the forest, opposite of the house. It was still night, and my heart was beating very fast.

I realised that the voice had rescued me from that dreadful place with thousands of animals. But that voice had also brought me to that place. What was that voice? Why did it bring me there and rescue me from there? I haven't got answers to those questions. But I understood that the voice did it for me, to bear my fear of animals, and I beared it!

This was the scariest thing that ever happened to me. But now, I am not scared of animals. I am very grateful to that voice. And remember that, each time we face our fear, we gain strenght, courage and confidence in he doing.
