I have the perfect story brewing inside of me!, but I need help...

Ever since I was a little girl I loved the thought of magic and the mysteries that are in this world, and that there in fact may be heros out there that can save us from our fate. As you all should know by now, I don't copy ANYTHING or ANYONE, but ever since I watched the old anime tv show sailor moon, I always had the idea of a magical hero that can do anything they put their minds too.

**Authors note: I began writing this but do to my lack of patience and my imagination going wild I started other stories I am also working on. If you were looking forward to reading this, don't think I will post it any time soon, sorry! I pretty much got all of the advice I need in which I THANK ALL OF YOU for! If you have anything you'd like to add, please do, but I think I have it all figured out now. Stay tuned for more posts like this, because I get confuzled frequently and am always looking for other people's advice! Thanks! :)

The perfect story to me may be quite different than the perfect story to you. I've had this idea in my head for longer than a year. The story of a few friends destined to protect the world, and the stars, from pure evil, and will stop at nothing to defend what they love the most. I've always loved the idea of super heros (mentally or physically, whatever you would consider a hero put together into one) I've always loved the idea of good verses evil. It's not original, but if I wrote it down it would be original to me, an original story, something people have never heard of. I'm just too afraid that if I begin to write it down it will turn out all wrong and not like I've been imagining it. This story is like my life, like I'm living it. i think about it all the time, the only way for it to calm down is for me to write it down. But sometimes the stories I imagine take a mind of their own when I'm writing them and turn out different from my original plan. I don't know what to do or where to start, and I want to know if any of you have had something like this happen. I don't want this to turn out wrong, i wish my imagination could just write it down by itself!

If you have no idea what I'm talking about you don't have to comment, I'm just so confused and my fingers are itching to start typing it out but I dont know where to start. I have the plot and the characters down, I just DON'T know where to start and how to fit this together like a puzzle without screwing it up. This has never happened to me before, which means this story will be important to me if I write it. I don't know if I'd post it on here because I wouldn't want anyone to steal my idea or story altogether, and I haven't been very clear so you might not understand me, but can any of you give me ideas on how to plan this out with organization?
