Bounce, bounce, thump, thump and screaming. That’s what P.E class is for me. As always we are playing basket ball, this never ending game that is no way close to fair. Screeches and yelling, pushing and shoving, that’s what I get for being in a girls class. “Why are you just sitting there?” The teacher looks my way. Yawn. “Did you hear me? Get up.” Walk into the field. I hate running, I don’t want to play can’t she realize that? I see Alice running around trying to get her share of the game. I smile, she finally got to play, bet she’s happy. 5 minutes and this will be over, just five more minutes.
“Ahhhhhh” “Are you ok?” “OMG, im so sorry.” Ugh not this again. I ran up to Alice, and stood with the rest of the class. She’d just been hit in the head with the basketball. Of course it had to be Alice, and now she’s out cold. The teacher was telling us to get away, that she needed her air. Like she cared. “Miss should I take her to the nurse?” Salien asked “and I’ll help her” I added. “yes, take her.” She was just waiting for someone to ask. “I’ll get something to carry her with.” Sarah said as she ran to the closet.
“What happened?” the nurse asked. “She got hit in the head with a basketball.” Sarah said as me and Salien hulled her in, and then placed her on the bed. The nurse was clueless, she had no idea what she was doing. “umm, ok I can see there is a bump on her head.” Well of course we told you she was hit on the head, God some people. “ya, do you think she’ll be ok?” Salien asked. “Yes, I think she just needs to rest.” We nodded, ‘Its ganna be fine’ I wanted to yell, I mean I’ve known Alice for a while now and her, she’s just like that. Her fainting is something I’ve been expecting for a while. “Ok,ok guys thank you for being so concerned and bringing her here, but I think you should get back to your class.” Of course once they get everything they need to know they just shoo us away, what do adults think we are? Whatever we’ve got physics, yay.
