Yeah, I know this chapter is like REALLY short but it will be worth it, I hope, tomorrow when I post the next chapter as well as the novel about Thebes, which doesn't have a name yet. ENJOY!!!!

Aidan is quick to come out of the bathroom after she hangs up the cell phone. The dress is completely on and she looks down right, ravishing.

I have a hard time keeping my eyes off of her.

I swallow a lump in my throat and walk up to her, stroking her perfect cheek. For some odd reason, I can see urgency in her gaze.

I am just about to ask about that, when Gilgamesh enters the room, a glare directed at Aidan, then a look of respect directed at me.

"Sir, there is someone here to see you," he says in a crisp, business like tone, bowing his head slightly.

"Who is it?" I ask impatiently.

"Epic I, and Emporer Vellhella," he says. My eyes widen. The EMPORER is here to see ME?! I run my hand through my hair and turn to Aidan.

"Stay here until I come back," I order, making sure to give her a firm glare. She smiles at me.

"Bet on it," she says, winking. But as I'm pulled away, I realize I could smell the stench of lies on her.
