I was still seething as I walked back to Thebes's house. The nerve of that man!!!! The memory burned bright in my chest, making anger race thru my veins.
I wanted to strangle him.
At first I was so shocked at the feeling of his lips on mine that I didn't protest, but once his tongue slid between my teeth, I jerked back and slapped him across the face.
He just laughed, taking my wrists in his hands. I glared at him.
"Oh come on now, you can't tell me that you didn't enjoy that." He smirked as he said this.
"Actually I can. I DID NOT LIKE THAT!!!!" I looked pointedly at my wrists. "It would be wise of you to release my hands," I warned.
"Or what? You gonna fight me?" He laughed again. I narrowed my eyes and stomped down hard on his foot in my heels. He grimaced, his grip on my wrists loosening just enough for me to jerk back and run away. Of course he followed.
I had no clue where I was going, but I hoped I was going in the right direction. Whatever the case may be, I was not, and I repeat NOT going back to ask that PIG where I was going.
I felt a hand on my shoulders. I wheeled around, expecting to have to fight Constantine. But another man was in his place. They looked almost exactly the same, except this man was two or three inches shorter, his hair was cut in a short, choppy style, and it was a shade lighter. He wore the Yin part of the Yin Yang necklace Constantine had been wearing.
This man's eyes were the same crimson color. He smiled warmly at me.
"Did my brother already reveal his true self to you?" he asked. I sighed.
"That guy's a jerk," I answered. "Flat out PIG MAN JERK!"
The man laughed.
"Describes my brother perfectly. I'm Constance by the way," he extended his hand, smiling again. "And I apologize for how rude my brother is."
I shook the man's hand, smiling back.
"Aidan, I accept your apology. And isn't Constance a girl's name?"
The man raised an eyebrow.
"Isn't Aidan a boy's name?"
"Touche!" I said. Then I blushed. "This is going to sound stupid, but can you point me to my friend's house? She lives on Infinity Lane."
"Sure thing, I'll be glad to accompany you."
He held out his arm, bent at the elbow, and I looped mine thru his. But we didn't get that far. Thebes and Cairo came running up to me.
"Oh thank God," Thebes breathed, pulling me roughly away from Constance. I laughed at the bewildred look on his face.
Before I could explain, Cairo and Thebes were pulling me away, heading towards a hill to my left. On top of the hill was the tallest castle I had ever seen. I counted the rows of windows going up. 10. 10 FLOORS!!!!
I waved back at Constance and called,
"SEE YOU LATER!!!!" He waved at me and then we were headed up the hill.
Cairo growled in my ear. "I don't like the look of that guy." I laughed at his protective nature.
"Come on now, Cairo, if you don't stop being so possesive I'll start to think you have a crush on me."
He blushed and looked down. I wondered why?
SORRY THIS ISN'T AS GOOD OR AS FAR AS I WANTED IT TO GO, BUT MY STUPID FAT BROTHER IS THREATENING ME. I'LL MAKE A SUPER GOOD ONE NEXT, PROMISE!!!!!
