"What the HELL are you doing in my room?!" I shrieked at the man sitting quietly in my corner. He wore an amused smirk on his face as I grew angry.

"You were upset. You were tossing and turning, I wanted to make sure you were okay."

I crossed my arms over my chest.

"How did you know I was having a bad dream?" I asked. Then my jaw dropped. "You were stalking me weren't you?!"

Fear started pounding through my veins. What did this guy want? He stood and was in front of me faster than I could blink. His thin fingers caressed my cheeks and I pulled away, disgusted.

He smiled.

"Yes I was stalking you, if you must know. But I always stalk my prey." He looked me straight in the eye. "You have what I want Aidan. As prince of the entire Underworld, I always get what I want." He placed his lips lightly on mine then jerked back and jumped out the window. Before he did, though, he took a second to look back at me, making a solemn vow, "Always."
