Carter and Lunarbeam attacking the army in tandem. Carter jumps on to a tank and rips the hatch off. Then Lunarbeam fires a blast into the cockpit destroying it as Carter jumps off to the next one. Seven other tanks lay in a path of destruction from these two titans.
Finally one tank gets off a lucky shot. Carter reaches it too late but that does not stop him from ripping it to pieces. He grabs the two soldiers inside and hurls them into the air. They are met with two well placed shots from General Hicks' rifle.
Lunarbeam notices the large projectile heading straight for him. He puts up his hand and creates a forcefield big enough to block the missile. The explosion lightens the sky, the smoke and flames flowing across the forcefield until they are gone.
The general, now stocked up on ammo and a pouch of grenades made to stick to any surface from the care package, continues his assault. Black Scorpion follows behind. She is now equipped with throwing knives and a new unbreakable staff just like the last one. This new staff can also fire electric charged spikes from it's tips, also made of Crydium.
The group of them scour the land for more armed forces to decimate. Another swarm of military vehicles can be seen in the distance.
"Lets move! Destroy everything in your path! We're going to Acropolis!" The Boss yells through the loud speaker.
Carter with a deep laugh says "We're takin the capital!"
Hicks and Scorpion cheer as the group of them move toward the next wave of militia.
Lunarbeam soars forward stopping gin the middle of the mass army. Bullets and missiles fly toward him. He puts up a shield of energy blocking each bullet. Then a missile comes, he throws up his field in enough time to protect himself. He then begins to fire powerful bolts of energy in all directions. Using a forcefield he stops a small missile then immediately fires a blast killing the soldier who fired it.
He dodges another by leaning backward and lets out another amazing beam from his hand destroying two tanks in its wake. Scorpion finally reaches him. She begins to throw her daggers. Each one taking out a missile firing toward her master. Soldiers march toward them. She quickly fires multiple electric charged spikes. They hit five different soldiers, their bodies shaking from the voltage before collapsing to the ground.
Fives shots are fired and five more soldiers drop to the ground dead. General Hicks' rifle still smoking from the burst he aims again, killing another 4 soldiers. He runs to the side as another group of men enter the battle field. Three well placed shots hit three of them in the forehead. Another one panics and begins to run back through the line of soldiers. Before he could disappear into the crowd, Hicks grabs a grenade and throws it. It hits him in the back of the head and sticks to him. The young soldier continues to run frantically trying to rip the grenade off but then it explodes. Blowing his head into bits and taking out another fifteen soldiers in the process.
Three soldiers close in on him. Hicks stands there watching them, his hand near his holster. Then like lightening he pulls his firearm from his hip and fires. Hitting one in the head, one in the heart and the other in the kneecap. As the two dead soldiers collapse to the ground Hicks slowly walks over to the other. He slowly lifts his gun up trying to decide where to deliver the killing blow. General Hicks loves the psychological torture of it. After savoring the look on his face for a moment he quickly shoots him in the head.
Carter Charges a group of tanks and begins to rip them apart. Ripping the top off of one tank he reaches in and grabs one soldier throwing him in the air. He grabs the cannon and swings it throw the air hitting him like a baseball through the air. He hurls the tank piece into another one knocking it on it's side. He then reaches in and grabs the other passenger, lifting him over his head. He throws him off of the tank and onto the ground. Jumping down he gives him a fierce kick in the ribs breaking them.
Lunarbeam soars off into the distance with a massive burst of wind. All three of them look to see what he is doing. He reaches his destination two stealth bombers. They fire their guns at him but Lunarbeam dodges them and returns fire. The aircrafts take evasive action dodging his attacks. The three of them enter into a massive dog fight.
The bombers chase him as they fire upon him with their weapons. Lunarbeam is too fast, however, and they can not make contact. He turns quickly in the air and fires a massive beam of energy. Each one of them turn to the side, the beam soaring between them. Lunerbeam flies upward and begins to fire multiple shots at them. They follow close behind but still manage to maneuver around the attacks.
The bombers return fire but again Lunarbeam is too fast. Then one of the aircraft fires a missile. Lunarbeam notices it flying towards him and he moves around to dodge. He realizes the missile is following him he turns around and quickly puts up a forcefield. The missile hits and explodes. He uses his powers to fire a large blast of energy absorbing the explosion. The pilot not able to see through the smoke had no time. The beam soars through the cloud of dust and hits the bomber directly. It explodes into pieces.
The other pilot angry at his friends fate rushes him. He begins to fire wildly but hits nothing. He looks around but he can not seem to find his target. Flying around a mountain he sees Lunarbeam floating inside a big clear ball of energy. His arms are out in front of him and his palms are open. He outstretches his fingers and releases a massive barrage of energy beams, as if his powers just exploded from his fingertips. The aircraft much too close to maneuver out of this, helplessly flies into oblivion. The waves of energy disintegrating it into ashes.
Feeling his powers weakening he flies back over to his teammates. The sun begins to rise. Lunarbeam sets down on the ground, standing beside Black Scorpion.
"Are you OK, baby?" she asks concerned.
"I am fine but my powers are nearly depleted"
"You better scram before anymore show up" Carter says.
General Hicks looks at him and then to Carter "What we need is a way to block the sun"
Another package falls to the ground from the circling chopper. "Good work Beamer" The Boss calls out. "This will help, put it on"
Lunarbeam walks over to the case, no longer able to fly. He opens it up and pulls out a black cloak.
"The Avatar Cloak!" he says shocked.
"What in the hell is that?" Hicks asks.
"This is a demon treasure. It was left on earth by the Demon God Avatar. Many of my kind have searched for this for millennia"
"What's it for?" Scorpion asks looking it over.
"For humans, nothing. But for a demon, wearing it nullifies your weaknesses" he replies as he looks up at the chopper.
The boss yells out "I think you've earned it"
He takes off his blue hood and cape. It turns to dust as it hits the ground. He puts on the cloak, and it molds to his form. A hood and a cape appears. Both blue like the previous ones, except for a shimmer of white. He again begins to hover in the air, his eyes glow fierce like never before.
"Ah, finally. I am at my maximum power"
