Tonight was the big night! Her clan was going to celebrate her coming of age. She couldn't wait. Nana had made her out fit and it in itself was beautiful. A white silk cloth that wrapped around her bust and then wrapped around one shoulder and then dangled gracifully down her arm. Another piece of white silk cloth wrapped around her lower body and tied in the front as to cover certain parts. Nana had said that the white silk went beautifully with her whitish blue ears and fluffy tail that lay straight. She was a pretty girl amoung her clan but she swore that Tula was the prettiest. Nana simply told her that she would find a mate long before Tula for the fact Tula was vain.

Now Azra was the daughter of the Chief. Chief Alec BloodClaw had been Chief for as long as Astra could remember. Even Nana the Clan healer said that her father had been around for a very long time. Though there were some that thought her father should be challenged and so far the only one that had even spoke of such Valin Coldstorm. He was very evil and had a thing for Astra. She couldn't stand him. At all.

As she ran a bone comb through her straight white hair a voice broke the silence. The voice was strong, gentle and held authority. It was her father.

"Daughter, you look beautiful this morning." Alec smiled revealing his white fangs. He was a handsome cat-man. He had jet black ears, hair and tail and tan skin. his eyes were like hers, a beautiful shade of blue. "Are you excited about tonight Azra?" He asked.

"Yes Papi, I am very excited and can't wait. " And that was the truth. She was looking forward to this night for a long time.

Her father nodded and wrapped his arms around his daughter and hugged her tightly.

"Your mother would be so proud of you..." He says softly.

  "I miss her."

   "I know."
