Fighting For Forgiveness Chapter Two: Back in Hell “Was it that bad?” “How long did you stay in bed?” “Did you get nightmares?” “Did big sissy Slaina help you get better?” Slamine was pounded with questions almost as soon as they had entered the building. Pixie had separated from them immediately as Slaina and Slamine were surrounded by curious class mates. “Coming through.” Kiron said, as students willingly moved out of his way. Slamine and Slaina rolled there eyes in unison, Slamine’s flashing a quick pink. “Feeling better ‘princess?’” Kiron asked, smirking. He placed an arm around her shoulder. “I told you not to call me that!” Slamine snapped, twisting out from under his arm. A few of his friends starting laughing, and Kiron shot them a look and they quieted quickly. “Come on princess, I’ll walk you to home room.” He pushed Slamine gently in front of him. “Got that nurse Slainie?” He said softly to Slaina, making sure Slamine couldn’t hear. His friends cracked up as he started walking next to Slamine. Slamine rolled her eyes as he caught up to her. “So… were you really sick? I mean come on; a whole week?” Kiron asked in a low voice. Slamine shot him a death glare before jamming her books into his stomach. She walked away as Kiron double over in pain, his friends cracking up once again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Slaina sighed, watching them walk away. She glanced over at the rest of Kiron’s friends. Rolling her eyes she headed off to homeroom, stopping when a hand grabbed her arm. “Listen, they only reason I…” She started, stopping when she saw it was Rhodren. He smiled at her, laughing slightly. Slaina turned away her eyes and cheeks turning a slight pink. She turned back to him, hitting his arm. “Don’t do that!” She scolded, heading off for home room again. “Wait.” Rhodren said, walking quickly along side her. “I’ll walk you there.” They exchanged another smile, and for once; Slaina’s wasn’t fake. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Hey there princess.” Kiron said, sitting on top of Slamine’s desk. She rolled her eyes and looked away. “Oh, know that’s not the way to treat someone you just slammed in the gut is it?” He smirked. “Alright, Kiron.” The teacher said, tapping him on her way by. “Slamine, good to have you back.” She said in a nonchalant way. “Seats, now!” She said, walking to the head of the room. Kiron slumped down into the chair next to Slamine, who rolled her eyes again. “Hey, princess, lunch.” Kiron said, smiling in his own cocky way, and faced forward while the morning announcements came on. ‘Six more classes to go…’ Slamine silently thought to herself.
