"It's the 16th century, Alexander. You can't possibly think that what you are doing isn't wrong!" Echo yelled from her place on the king-sized bed. Her hands and feet are bound tightly to the posts of the bed with rope and her eyes are covered with a piece of cloth he found in her mother's drawer.

Alexander smirks with amusement as he stands there at the end of the bed, watching her struggle.

"That is where you are wrong, my dear."

"Please, just let me go!" She screams this time as she tries, unsuccessfully, to escape.

Frustrated, she lays her head against the pillow that is under her head.

"I will think about it."

She can hear his boots against the wooden boards as he walks around the bed to stand on her right side. He reaches down and slowly traces his fingertips against her smooth skin, causing her to shiver under his touch.

Leaning down, he murmurs into her ear,"You are quite beautiful laying there tied up. Why didn't I think of this sooner?"

"Please," Echo whispers, "Let me go. I won't tell anyone, I promise. Just let me go," she begs.

"How do I know I can trust you?" Alexander asks in a hushed voice as his fingers brush against her shoulder and across her collarbone. He smiles when she bites down on her lower lip. Echo was never one to ignore a touch like his.

"I love you." She answers, "You know I love you and I promise on my life, I will keep your secret."

His voice completely changes from that playful tone to a more stern one. With a grin, he says, "Hmm…or maybe I can just make you one of mine."

This causes her to struggle against the rope again.

"Don't!" She screams again, but this time it is muffled when his hand covers her mouth.

"Don't struggle. It will only hurt more if you do," he mutters into her ear as he slowly traces his lips against the crook of her neck. "You smell so good," he breathes against her skin, "Like an angel."

He grazes her skin with his teeth and then bites into the soft flesh. Blood flows into his mouth and down his throat, leaving a calming trail in its wake.

Echo's body shakes from the pain as she feels the blood leaving her body. Her eyes begin to feel heavy and her body becomes numb to the cold that surrounds the air. Soon, her breathing becomes shallow and her heart starts to stop it's rhythmic beating.

Once she is dead, Alexander stands up straight. Using the piece of fabric that covered her eyes, he wipes the blood from his mouth and chin. With a smile, he leans down for one last kiss from her soft lips.

"I will see you again, my love."
