Prologue to the war in heaven
Lucifer, the brightest star in the sky in the time before time began. He was the highest of the high among the angels. He was the most powerful angel ever created and thus he had a good life. He would have friendly debates with the other angels, sing with them, and occasionally would exchange gifts with them. The angels showed Lucifer much respect and Lucifer took it to mean that they worshipped him. He began to think that maybe he could rule the heavens over God; he thought that his own power was better than God’s. Because of his pride in himself, Lucifer’s mind became corrupted by thoughts of power, and glory. So he began his search for an innocent, weak mind to use for his own purposes, a mind easily ensnared by pride and power, and so he found Beelzebub.
Beelzebub was one of Gods messengers. God’s messengers had access to all in the information in the heavens, thus Beelzebub was endlessly useful for Lucifer. In secret, Lucifer filled Beelzebub’s head with ideas of power. “ The heavens will bow before us!” Lucifer said to Beelzebub,” We shall rule the heavens and the earth below us! We will have statues and temples built in our name!” Beelzebub played with the idea in his head. “ Statues and temples you say?” he said after several long minutes. “ Yes, statues temples and more wealth than you could imagine! We will have the world at our feet!” So Beelzebub agreed to help Lucifer take god’s throne. Beelzebub began to take information from the other angels and take it back to Lucifer. This process went on until Lucifer new what God would do before God did it. So Lucifer began to persuade more angels to follow him. One by one the angels became ensnared by pride, and the lust for power until only a few of God’s angels remained. Twenty of God’s angels were able to resist Lucifer’s talk of power and began preparations for the imminent attack of Lucifer.
The angels were lead by Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. Upon Lucifer’s rebellion God granted these four angels control over the elements. God’s only conditions was that they would take Lucifer into the earth’s core and imprison him there. Then guard over him for eternity. The four were glad to god’s bidding, even if it meant being trapped on earth for all eternity. So God granted each of them control over an element, as he had promised. Michael was given the element of fire, Gabriel was given water, Raphael was given air, and Uriel was given the element of earth.
And so the war began……………….
