Prologue
At the beginning of time, a Goddess watched as a Princess was to be married to a King. Only the Princess loved another. On her wedding day, she sent a Last letter to her love, a servant boy in her brother’s kingdom. The princess waited until the last petal from an orchid fell before taking her own life. The Last letter sent to her servant boy, never reached him. Her brother, the King of her Kingdom, had all letters checked as he learnt of his sister’s death, and was informed of the Last letter addressed to his stable boy. In his rage, the King had the lowly servant boy tortured and executed. The Goddess knew she could not interfere with life, so she waited. The souls of the princess and the servant boy came to her to be blessed before they finally passed on. Only the Goddess could not allow them to pass. Instead, she created the sun with the soul of the princess, and the moon with the soul of the servant boy, creating an true, unbreakable love that would last for infinite days.
