Prologue: \"They cannot be trusted alone\"
It was nighttime in the strange land the two companions lived in. The occasional cricket would sound but instantly it would be silenced by some menacing creature that fed on them. The crickets, just to clarify. Other than the crickets the night was silent except for the soft breathing of the two earlier mentioned people.
One of them went by the name of Chessie. She wasn\'t exactly what you\'d describe as dainty. Infact: she was just the opposite. Her tanned skin was dry and rough. Her dirty blonde hair was forced into a messy bun, making all the tiny ringlets in her hair tangle. Though her eyes were closed at that moment, when they were open they were a dark hazel with an unexplained feisty twinkle to them. Her body seemed to grow out rather than up. Not saying she was plump, but she was very short: barely making five feet and she was very curvy, causing many a boy to look her up and down when she passed.
Chessie wasn\'t asleep all alone, of course. She was with Jayere, a tall lanky teenage boy with long brown hair that covered his eyes. On the topic of his eyes, they were large and a deep dark sea color. Not blue-that combination of grey, blue and green most seas possess.
When around Chessie you knew she was around you-she basically commanded the attention of everyone in the room while Jayere would simply try and blend into the wall where no one would mind him and he could be alone in peace.

\"They cannot be trusted alone much longer,\" an old woman told her grandson.
Despite her age the woman looked ageless. Her grey eyes were like stones: lifeless and her silver hair hung limply down her back. Not to say she was ill, but more uninterested in everything. Her grandson was quite different. He was a prince and knew it well, his . His black hair was artistically tousled and though he only wore a plain grey tunic and white pants he looked like he was an angel sent from above.
\"Grandson,\" the grandmother began, \"You know what must be done.\"
\"Yes, Grandmother.\"
\"Good. You leave at once.\"
The prince bowed respectfully and got up, \"Thank you for your trust in me.\"
\"Yes, yes, I accept your thanks,\" the woman replied waving a hand, \"Now be gone. You\'ve already prolonged your stay.\"
The Prince\'s footsteps echoed in the throne room and he left with a bang of the heavy marble doors. Just as the first Prince left another entered through another door. This was the first Prince\'s twin brother. They shared the black hair but that was all. Their demeanor and their appearance was so different people often questioned the fact that they were related.
\"They cannot be trust alone much longer,\" the old woman said-saying the same thing to this prince that she\'d said to the first.
\"I know.\"
\"Good.\"
\"I will go at once.\"
\"Of course.\"
The Prince bowed and went off without another word. Finally, the old woman was alone. A twisted smile appeared on her lips, the plan and the prophecy were both fulfilled. Now, only the question was what now? What next?
