Author's Note: It's basically like my other novel, Immortal love will always be dead but this is told from the vampires point of view.
Chapter 1: Dead with emotions
I growled at her as she looked back at me. Her blood wasn't so appealing. She was a werewolf afterall. I charged at her body and fell on top of her. "Get off of me!" She screamed. But her screams hardly affected me. She was so fun to toy with. This has been going on for months. She let out a small growl and her body immediatley heated up against mine. I grabbed onto her neck and squeezed. Of course I wasn't going to kill her, but as I said, she was fun to toy with.
Her eyes changed to a dark crimson color and I knew this meant she's about to shift into her wolf form. Her strength suddenly increased and I found myself being pushed three yards away and landing on the ground. I quickly got up unharmed as I saw her in wolf form. I offered a small smile as I started walking towards her form. She suddenly started to run towards me. It wasn't fast nor slow. I felt her knock me down to the ground and took a harmless bite of my neck. I pushed her off and stood up. "Come here, doggy." I teased as I used my speed to run deeper into the dark woods.
I could feel her behind me and I smiled when I heard something knock her to the ground. A small growl escape her lips and she was suddenly behind me again. I ducked into the lake and was on the other side in a second.
I stopped running when I realized I wasn't being chased anymore. I was focused on getting back to my human. Angel. She was the girl I feed on every now and then and right now, I was thirsty.
I've been a vampire for over two hundred years. I guess that your life consumes fast when you're a human. I enjoy being undead and immortal. Sometimes, small excitement runs inside of me when I think about the fact that I can't die. Well not easily. If there's anything that I've been told throught my vampire life, it's that vampires aren't exactly immortal, they're just harder to kill and I could respect that because it's a fact.
All of my human qualities have been just about cut off except for my sarcasticness and my talent for being a complete ass as my sister says. My sister is Aries. That horrible name my mother gave her. I guess she had her reasons.
My mom was a good woman..........In just two hours within me being a demon, I drained her of her blood and I felt guilty. Not anymore. Heaven is better than earth. Another fact.
I have a brother also, he's very powerful. He made me and Aries into what we were today. But he's been missing for a while now. I look for him mostly during winter when the sun is down the longest. No. We don't sparkle. We burn unfortunately. I wish the sun didn't effect us so much, that's the only downside to being what I am. Aries was walking toward me. Blood was rolling down her lips. "Hope you don't mind. I fed on Angel." She licked her lips.
I sighed. "You can't be serious. If you want blood, go get it from one of the prostitutes thats around town."
"Well I couldn't help myself. I haven't fed on a human in days."
"I told you that animals won't settle the thirst. You should learn to listen to people who are more intelligent than you." Aries rolled her eyes.
"Well. Adison doesn't understand that I can't live off animals. It's impossible. I mean...I don't understand how he could resist the hot, thick, sweet blood that pumps in the veins of humans."
"So why don't you tell him, that you can't survive off animals?" She let out a brief sigh. "Because it'll hurt his feelings and he's so hot." She replied. I shook my head. Me and Aries found Adison a couple of months ago when he was walking around simultaneously through the woods. We try to get as much vampires into our coven as possible. Adison has been a vampire for over four hundred years and he drinks animal blood. I don't understand how he does it. I'm okay with him though. I know he has a thing for Aries. I wish they would just get together and fuck already. It was irritating seeing her horny and whiny all the time. But I learned to live through it. For now.
Arie's POV
I was walking my brother, Aeryn. It's pronounced like Aaron but my mother became fancy with her spelling of our names. I had one other brother. One of the most powerful vampires there is. His name is Isaiah. I tried to forget about him because I knew he was half way across the fucking world by now. And if he really cared about seeing me and Aeryn, then he'd be here right now. I smelled Addison's scent and my body reacted as I felt him getting closer to us. He came into view smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back. Addison had dark hair and black eyes. His skin was pale and smooth. Flawless; As was his entire being. Everytime I see him, I feel.......I don't know. His gaze looked to Aeryn. "Your human is asking for you." He said. Aeryn sighed and walked off. Addison came closer to me. "I have to tell you something Addison." I said. He nodded. "You fed off of Angel."
My eyebrows pulled together. "How did you know?" I asked. He bit his lip for a second and looked like he wanted to say something. I waited for his answer. "You.....you like to moan when you're feeding." I didn't even realize that I do that. Maybe I should learn to be quieter. "Why did you seem like you didn't want to tell me that at first?" I asked.
His smile slowly dissappeared. "Well......I thought that you sound sexy when you moan." If I was still human, I would have blushed. But I just smile and stared into his eyes. Something I'd be too embarrased to do if I was human.
"I honestly don't know what to say to that." I responded. Addison's eyes dropped to the ground. "You know, I really think you're amazing Aries."
"What makes me that way?" I asked. He took a few uncertain steps towards me.
"I guess that seeing you just makes me feel........weird. But in a good way. Like I feel hyper, energetic whenever you're around. You have such positive energy. Seeing you happy makes me happy. And you're beautiful. Very beautiful."
I bit my lip and stepped closer to him. "I am?" He slowly closed the space between us. "Definitely." His face was so close to mine. I wanted to close the small distance between our lips. But I snapped back to reality. "Um...let's go hunt."
He had a questioningly look on his face. "I mean animals." I assured. He slightly smile but I can see the small disappointment on his face from me not kissing him. I wasn't a relationship type of person and plus, the thing was, I didn't want to feel love. I flirted with Addison constantly but I know that if I get any closer, I'd fall in love. And I can't. I'm not human. I can't love him. But I can lust him.
