Chapter 2:Need
Aries's POV
Addison taught me and Aeryn everthing. He taught us how use our powers correctly. Crazy how I was attracted to a vampire much older than me and Aeryn put together. But Addison was very smart. One of the smartest vampires I knew. But the thing was, There was people that was after him. Well, vampires. Rumor has it that he's done too many crimes and is supposed to be sentenced for death. But like I said.....rumor.
The wind whipped through my hair. "I can't smell any animals." I said. Addison was right beside me. "Only because you don't want to. You shut the smell of animals off because you prefer humans." He smiled at me. "I'm sorry." I said. He shook his head. "Don't apologize. It's natural for a vampire to be stuck on human blood." He shrugged.
"Can I confess something?" I asked. He nodded once. "Well, I'm not sure if I want this. If I want to feed on animals. I'm sorry but humans are so.......intoxicating." I was already thirsty again.
"That's okay. You don't have to feed on animals if you don't want to, Aries. I just wanted to see if I could get someone to cross over." He held small disappointment to his face. "I'm sorry." I said again. He shook his head and looked out into the darkness.
He inhaled and then jotted off. I followed him immediatley as he ran through the darkness.
Aeryn's Pov
I loved the sweet taste of blood that landed on my tongue. Angel was a sweet pure innocent girl and the more innocent they are, the sweeter the blood. Angel moaned as my teeth bit through her delicate skin. Her skin tasted just as sweet as her warm blood and I felt myself getting stronger as it flooded through my veins. I almost drained her completely but I stopped myself. I let go of her and stepped away from me. My bite marks healed from her skin. "You took more than usual this time." She commented. My fangs slid back into my gums. "Yeah, I know." I commented.
"You okay, Aeryn?" I nodded once. "I'm going on a little trip soon. I'm going need you to stay here." I said. Angel frowned. "How long will you be gone?" She asked. I shrugged. I never tell humans my vampire business. I'm going to go find my brother.
Isaiah has been gone for a little over two hundred years and I know it wasn't because he wanted to me. Aries never had any respect to him. I didn't blame her honestly. But the first place I was about to search him was The Council. The Council was a vampire coven. They were like the......vampire version of the governement. Translation: You can't fuck with them. I have a feeling that they either killed him or was keeping him captive for all the crimes he's caused. For one, he turned me and Aries against our will and we never knew why. He disappeared a couple weeks after we were changed.
But I wanted to find him and bring him home. But if he's in the council's hands and the Council leader refuse to give him back, I will have to take serious actions. Very serious actions. And those serious actions involves killing the Council Leader.
"Don't tell Aries. She'll go crazy knowing I'm planning to leave her here." Angel nodded.
"What exactly are you planning on doing?" She asked.
"I'm going to get blood. Wolf blood."
