Lex leaped down, bumping into me. "Wach it." He growled. I just glared. To tell you the truth, I was kind of afraid of him. His hood was on, but only to cover his ears. He had bright yellow cat eyes. Raid whistled. "Hey, love birds! Breakfast!" "But... I dont..." I stutered. "Wanna say that again?" Lex was in Raid dace, holding his ax to his neck. "Dude, dont be so defencive. Jeez." Raid was acking oddly calm, even his position. Lex must do that alot. Plum sighed. "Lex, calm down. He was kidding." "I dont know why you would even think that. I hate her." I looked down. I didint know he hated me. "Plum... we were going somewhere?" "Yah, but dont you want breakfast first?" "Um, nah." I suddnly wasint hungry anymore. Why are you acting like this? I asked myself. Its not like you like him. "Well, okay.... Lets go." As we were all walking, I was far behind. Thinking if I was just in a dream... and... why would he hate me.

"Damnit..." Lex muttred under his breath. He didint mean to say he hated her. Truthfuly, he really liked her. He glanced back. She was looking upset, staring at the ground, her short plad skirt waving in the wind. "Hey, dude..." Raid walked up beside Lex. "What do you want?" "Um, sorry for embarasing you. I was just kidding..." He felt some pity for him. Raid was just 13, but was forced to act and fight much older. He scraced his head. "So, yah. Sorry." "I was never embaresed. Just dont do it again." "Oh. alright..."

Something was running in the forest. Its was folowing me, I was sure of it. I wanted to tell Plum, but if I was wrong, it would only give Lex more resons to taunt me. Then I saw them. I was right. They looked like the creatures that attacked me earlier, but meaner, more evil. And way, way bigger. It was glaring at me, running on all fours. Before I could call out, it leaped.
