"i'll work harder Monday." I said, rubbing my eyes. "I got a bit... cought up." "What in the world could you get cought up in-" He was interuptd by a huge crash from the back room. He flinched. "Story, are you okay?" A snow-white bobcat took out off out of the room, and rearly took me out. Red grabbed it. "What the heck was that?" He scolded it. Once he sat it down, it closed it eyes, started glowing, and turned back into my other sorta partent, Story. Her short silver hair draped her sholderds, her clothes splattered with paint. "What the heck happened?" He repeaded. "Sorry, Red." She gave him Bambie eyes. "I got a bit carried away and knocked over my vase." He nodded. "Get changed. We're.... going to go to the store. Oak, can you handle yourself? Luke will be here in about..." He checked his wach. "10 minutes." I gave him a look. "I'm 14, Red. What more, I'm a 14 year old, and can turn into a cheetah. I can handle myself." "I know... I just want you safe." He walked into his room, and Story walked into hers. I floped onto our beat up white couch. Realing through my mind, I thought about a could-be master. Hazel? Brock? (The guy Blaze was arguing with) Cass? Not Blaze. Definitly NOT Blaze. He was too open, too happy. Blaze. I shook my head. Stop thinking about him! I told my self. Red and Story came out. Red had a baggy blue hoodie with worn old jeans and tennishoes. Story had a little purpe shirt that said "Save our oceans" and shorts. "See ya, Oak!" Story turned into a bobcat, and ran out the now opened door, and Red chainged into his animal form, a fox, and folowed. Walking into the kitchen, I opened the fridge. No wonder they went to get food. All that was left was 5 cups of yogert and orange juce. Picking a yogert I closed the door and grabbed a spoon. I walked to our small table and sat down. Some one knocked at the dor. "Who is it?" I yelled, not wanting to get up. "Its Luke!!" I grinned. "Come one in!" I heard the door open, and thin, blonde Luke walked in. "Sup Oak! Hows my little peep?" He messed up my air and sat across the table. He studied my face. "Something bothering you." Thats another thing about Luke. He can always tell when somethings wrong with me. I cant hide anything from him. "Nothings wrong." I took another bite of yogert. "Yes. Tell me. If you cant trust me, who can you trust?" He gave me puppy eyes. "Just... problems. You wouldent care." He smiled. "Try me." I took a deep breath. "Well theres this guy..." "Ahhhh....." He intrupted. I glared. " Sorry. Carry on." "And he's really popular and rich. Then there are these two girls, Cass and Carly. So I talk to him, he goes to talk to someone elts, and they start yelling at me, telling me he doesint like me, blah, blah, blah. So... what should I do?" I took another angry bite, then set it n the table. He looked at it. Then, with a snap of his fingers, a small gust of wind blew it over t o him. He ate some. "Mmmm rassberrys. Helthy." "See!? You .... dont ..... CARE!" I yelled angrly, jumping up. "Woah, woah. Calm down. Dr. Luke needs to make a suggestion." He scrached his chin. "Do you like him?" "What? Of course not!" "okay, so you do..." I clenched my jaw. "Is he nice? Does he care about you?" "He's poular, Luke. Rich too. Those are two bases. He's probly a snob. He was showing me around out of pity." "huh. I'm not rich, but I'm already popular, and I'm not a snob. He showed you around too? Why do you think it was out of pity? Did he act uncomfortable? In fact, how did he act?" I thought. "He smiled alot, but that doesint mean anything." "Oak... Oak... Your ignoring the fact, he does like you. I know how he feels. Those two girls say he's doing it out of pity? They lie him, and they're trying to get you out of the way. Forget what they say, okay?" I nodded. "Okay... You know, you could be a really good insperational speaker." He grinned. "I know." The phone started ringing.
