He got up and put the phone to his ear. "Oh, hey Red." He looked puzzled. "But..... why? Um, okay. I swear. Come on, Red, Im only 4 years younger then you. She's like my little sister. I will. Okay. Adios." He rolled his eyes. "It means bye, Red. Yes. Bye." He hung up. "Red and Story are going to be gone at the Base for a week. To get more info." He looked at the clock. "You hungry. Red told me we actulay have tons of food." "Where?" "Um, under Storys bed." I grinned. "You'de think she's part chipmunk, not bobcat." He smiled. "Lets go check it out." As we walked into Storys room, we were amazed. Colors, everywhere! On the floor, celing, walls. "Jeez, went a litle over on the colors, didint she?" He wrinkled his nose. Everything, exsept the bed, wich was covred by a tarp. We peeked under it. I gasped. There was TONS of food under it. I touched a container of milk. Odd. It was still cold. "Huh, whats this?" Luke picked up a small, ice figure of a fox. "Looks like a little charm from our bud, Red. Smart, but he shouldent be using up his powers for this stuff. Charms use up alot of energy." Okay, you dont know this either, but some people, like Red or me, can use their powers to make charms. Charms are little trinkits that do certan thing that help. Red has power over ice, so whenever he makes one, everything around it stays cold. "Red knows what he's doing, Luke. He did it for us." "I know, its just-" He was intrupted by loud, frantic knocks at the door. "Who could that be? Go see, Oak." I walked to the door. I peaked out. It was a boy, my age, but about Red hight. He had spicky blonde hair, and was covered in cuts, bleeding badly from a large goudge on his forhead. Eyes wide, I yelled. "Luke, I need your help!" Quick as the wind, Luke ran over. He didint hesitate a second. Soon the boy was on the couch, with Luke leaning over him. Something wasint right.... Suspishosly looking out the door, I closed it. "im.... Im Jasper." He weakly introduced himself. Jasper coughed. "Thanks...... for helping me." "I'm Luke and thats Oak. What hap-" Jasper proped himself on his elbows. "The Luke and Oak? Luke Summers? Oak Willows? Thank goodness!" Out of instinct, I grapped his shirt coller. "How do you know us?" I hissed. He looked shocked. "You guys can help me. Do you how I got this?" He pointed to the gash on his forhead. "I was being chaised. By a Master. No nice one, either." I let go. "What? How do you know about Masters?" "I.... am one, too." "You are?!" Luke stared. "Prove it." I crossed my arms. "I will, if you help me." "How do you need help?" "He's still out there. Help me fight him." Luke nodded. "Okay. I'll go. Alone. You and Oak, stay here." "WHAT!?" I was in his face. "Thats so sexist! I can handle myself. I'm going with you." I glared at him. Luke bit his lip. "Fine, you can come." "Me too! I want to come." Jasper sat up. "No. Not you. You went though enough already." I and Luke headed outside.
