~Part 1: The Forgotten~

~~

All alone, a small Seer sits on a stool, in a hut. The hut is empty, but for the stool on which the boy is sitting on. The Seer wears blue horn-rimmed glasses. His eyes are blue as well. Until he takes his glasses off. Now, glasses removed, his eyes shine a deep, burnished copper. If one looked long into those eyes, patterns appeared. But that’s impossible, isn’t it? Then a light brighter then fire breaks thou the patterns. The light changes the Seer’s eyes from their previous copper, to a cutting-edge gold, not as bright as the sun, but just as dangerous. Around the boy’s neck, a long, sturdy piece of twine closely hugged by a steel brace holds up a shining blue sapphire necklace. And radiating a soft aura of blue.

Katre knew that, while in the pool, he was not to touch his sword to the lightning bolt. You see, Katre’s sword was made of water. And if you connected water to lightning, well, it wasn’t a happy thought. Katre was clambering out of the pool when he slipped on the rock on and flew backwards; hitting the lightning bolt with an unhealthy sizzle. As his whole body touched to lightning bolt, lightning reached up his spine, cooking and burning him from the inside out. He felt, rather than heard, the scream that ripped from his blacked lips. As he fell, he saw Klicki and Kershie run towards him, and a silvery tear ran, somehow like his mentors, his teachers, his friends, down his face. Life was in the present. But now he was in the past.

Klicki had been carefully opening some ancient scrolls when she heard Katre falling in to the water. When he screamed, Klicki thought that it sounded odd. Had she looked closer, she would have recognized the scream from the tales of the dead ones, murdered by a necromancer. Apparently, the necromancer killed them for use of their souls. He bound them in the form of ghosts and slowly sucked away even that for reasons only known to him, or so the stories said. Klicki had then dismissed the stories as useless and moved on to the next village with a vampire haunting its people, or a mummy found in a long lost tomb that was terrorizing someone or other. Good thing then, that she did not stop and think, or else she would have realized something that would most likely kill her with shock. But let’s move on, shall we?

Kershie had saw Katre fall before Klicki did. It was Kershie who saw his and Klicki’s student arch, saw lightning crackle along Katre’s blackening body. Kershie winced at the slight thump as Katre’s body fell heavily to the moldy stone floor. Kershie’s legs were faster and stronger than Klicki’s. This, besides making him the fastest of the group, resulted in Kershie reaching Katre before Klicki did. Kershie was carefully trying to turn Katre on his back, instead of his face, when Klicki caught up with him. For hours, they tried to bring their student back to the light. But nothing worked. Klicki began to weep, the stress too much for her. She had never been emotionally strong, but this was simply too much for her. She would get over it. She had to get over it. Kershie was handling it better, thou not by much. Both had retreated several feet from where Katre’s body lay crumpled on the floor. As they dealt with their grief, they did not see Katre’s eyes lit with unnatural fire. They did not see a shimmering arise from the blackened form on the ground. But soon the fire dimmed, and dwindled away. Then the shimmering was pulled away, captured by something more powerful than itself. And Katre, student of Kershie and Klicki, died on the ground, his soul captured, and taken away.

I'll put chapter 2 on later. but now that you've joined, this will be the only place where I'll put PART TWO!!!!
MAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

I like the names in this:)! Katre, Klickie, and Kershie (like the brand of chocolate: hershie)! Anyway this was a really interesting first chapter to your story-- I like, I like^_^! Especially with all the strange things that were going on-- the eyes, the sword made out of water, and the lightning that killed Katre because of that sword. Poor... poor Katre...

Well update the next chapter soon-- I want to read!

Lot's of special chocolate to you,

Ghiradelli Girl.

Thanks!
Actually I have all of the first part typed up. I'm in the process of writing part two, cause its going to be waaay longer! But I'll post it up when I'm done posting part one. But one setback I'm having is that when I transfered my stuff from my 1GB flash drive into my new 4GB one, I lost all my documents. So I'll have to retype it from my hard-copy. But that shouldn't stop me much!!!!
