Here's the next chapter, enjoy-Meg
We walked into a mess, little kids running around laughing and playing and the adults smiling watching their kids. Carla's gaze slid up to the door and she stood up slowly, holding her back. Her belly had grown even more durning the day they had missed seeing her, she looked about four to five months pregnant.
She walked over to us smiling.
"What are you guys doing here? Did you miss us that much?" Trent chuckled.
"Well of course we did, Ella and I thought it be a nice idea to visit you all. I see the twins are as crazy as ever." Carla nodded laughing.
"Yes, little bundles. Catty, Davie, Uncle Trent is here." They turned around from their game with the others Zane, Molly a redheaded one and a little one about three months old. All the kids who could speak yelled out.
"Uncle Trent!" They all ran over to him, and I slid out of the way as Trent crouched on the ground opening up his arms to get the whole bunch of them there, for hugs. A beautiful woman with bright curly red hair, deep usual chocolate brown eyes and skin tone like alabaster walked up to us, holding the baby that was only about three months.
The baby, a girl by its bright blonde hair, clear violet eyes and perfect skin, giggled as she saw the kids chattering. The redheaded little boy who had just finished hugging Trent looked up at this gorgeous woman and that when I knew that was his mom.
"Deon give Trenton some space darling, before you smoother him." I looked down at the little boy with the uncommon name of 'Dion' smiling and nodded to his mother pulling back, he tapped Catty on the shoulder and stuck his tongue out at her surprised face.
"Deon I thought you said you were gonna be nice to me! Mommy." Catty wailed and ran to her mother tears sparkling in her dark brown eyes. Catty held onto Carla's pant leg soaking it with he little girl tears, Carla sighed rubbing Catty's back soothing her with words of love. I cocked my head to the side and commented.
"Baby love, huh?" I asked Carla, she looked down fondly at her daughter and nodded. The lovely woman who was Deon's mother cleared her throat.
"So your Trenton's mate." I smiled at that, when Thea walked in hearing what she had said.
"She better be after all the running around I did for Trent the other night." I blushed. Deon's mom gave Thea a look.
"Cocky as ever Thea, are you ever gonna settle down?" Thea shook her head and adding dramatically.
"Every since you took my girl I have lost the will to love, how is Samantha anyhow? Still fun in bed?" I covered my mouth to hold the laughter that had bubbled up.
"Please Thea." I said stressing the words and not believing what I was about to say, "You didn't seem to be too hung up on your ex when you tried seducing me, what are you suffering from some love lost with me? Sad I turned you down, thats what you are." Trent looked shocked at me then bursted out in laughter I couldn't hold it back anymore and started laughing too. I turned to who must be Selena.
"Well, besides Thea interrupting our conversation it's nice to finally met you Selena." Selena arched and eyebrow at me.
"You know my name."
"I pay attention, when I heard Thea mentioning a girl named Samantha, I assumed she was the girl I heard about that helped watch the kids the other night. And with her girlfriend Selena, I just put two and two together somehow getting four." Trent nodded, pulling me to him.
"Hmm, how many times have I said your smart, my little butterfly?"
"Mmm, a lot." I looked back at Selena and the little girl with the bright golden hair grinned at me. "Aren't you adorable, is she yours?" I asked Selena.
"Kinda she's really Sammy's biologically, but we raise both our kids together isn't that right Gideon?" Deon groaned.
"Mama I'm Deon, and yes Lila's my sister, isn't that right Lila?" Lila giggled and retched for Deon. Deon gave her a quick hug and looked back up at Selena. "Where's Mommy?" Selena smiled.
"She's upstairs, she should be right down, and you can met her Ella." Thea had been very quiet after my jib to her and I felt very bad, I looked at her and she seem very upset. I walked over to Thea.
"You know I was just teasing you Thea, I didn't mean any harm." Thea looked up at me stunned. I just smiled sweetly at her. "I'm sorry, forgive me?" Thea's mouth dropped open. I gave Trent a weird look, confused.
"Um... yea I suppose... thanks Ella..." She stuttered before blushing and walking away.
"What was that all about?" Trent gave me a pity look.
"Two things, one she really does like you Ella and for two she's never been apologized to before." I lifted my eyebrows up.
"I hope I didn't just made things worse." I walked back over to everyone. Everybody continued chatting, and thats when I heard running down the stairs, a bright blonde with purple eyes and a shocked expression came running down and into Selena's arms.
"Lena, you'll never guess what." Selena looked, intrigued.
"Thea just said sorry to be after all theses years for making me feel bad, for cheating on me and for being a bad sport for losing me to you. It was the most amazing thing I've ever heard. Thea never regrets anything ever!" Selena smirked and took a look at me.
"Ella she really must like you if you made her regret things she did decades ago." I tugged on my jacket sleeve.
"She knows its never gonna happen, why is she acting like that?" Selena shrugged, looking at Samantha tenderly.
"Love does weird things to you, right Sammy girl?" Samantha's face lit up.
"You haven't called me Sammy girl in years! This night is just getting better, oh so your Trent's mate. Ha I'm Sam." She let go of Selena's neck long enough to give me a friendly hug, she looked back at Lila.
"I see you met my baby girl, how's Mommy's precious doing?" Lila clapped her chubby hands together.
"Mama." She said, Sam's face dropped in surprise.
"Oh my gods, Lila! Such a smart girl, can you say it again say 'Mama.' "
"Mama, Bo." Sam tilted her face confused, until Lila patted her own tummy.
"Oh Bo is blood. You want food sweetie? Hold on." Sam tuned and when over to the bar. Selena, seemed very impressed.
"By the way Ella, you can called me Lena. Only one person calls me Selena and I don't wish to be reminded of him right now." I raised an eyebrow at 'him'. She sighed.
"My male mate is pissing me off right now, he hasn't come to visit Deon in over two weeks." I nodded, not really understanding 'male' mates versus 'female' mates. Trent rolled his eyes.
"Your minds not very dirty you know." I glared at him, for reading my thoughts. And I decided to torture him a bit, while my face lit in pure satisfaction, I sent Trent a mental image of me moaning against the shower wall begging for more of him. Trent's face popped and he looked very hungry at the moment, but I don't think for blood.
"Hows that for dirty?" I asked, amused. Lena looked very entertained. I heard all of a sudden a crash and I looked over to Carla who had dropped a glass, she was clutching her stomach.
"OW, damn it that hurt!" Carla growled, Drake ran right over to her.
"Love, are you alright?" Carla nodded slowly.
"Kicking, damn kid. That wasn't nice honey." Carla scolded her blooming belly, gently, which made her seem crazy.
"Did she break anything?"
"I think may have cracked a rib, but nothing too bad. Baby's do it all the time, it just hurt and surprised me." I looked at Carla concerned. She felt it and look at me.
"Thanks for the worrying of me, Ella, but this is normal don't let it bother you. Drake? Do you think you could help me to bed? I suddenly don't feel so good." Drake nodded and lifted his wife up without much work, carrying her to the stairs Carla waved at everyone.
When Drake came back I asked him the one question that was really bothering me.
"Drake?" Drake looked at me.
"Do you have any idea where Josh might be?"
"Yes, but why? And how do you know him?"
"Well, he is my brother, I just wanted to see him." Something clicked in his brain.
"Oh so your the one of the girls he whispered when he was recovering, he keeps to him self, he kept saying Elly and---."
"Sara, of course he would. He might be at her house is that where he is?"
"All I know is he is at 24 Preston Ave."
"That's Sara's house, little scrapper over at Sara's house while I'm worried sick about him. Damn if I could I'd punch him, but I rather keep my hand intact." Drake chuckled, and I looked around the whole group they may be vampires, but they were part of my family now. *And, most diffidently my Trent.*
