Chapter 1:
After I saw Jeimie get up she started to walk toward the door. “Where are you going miss?” asked Mrs. Bear, our Vice Principal of our werewolf training school said to my best friend. Then my friend turned around. “I have to use the restroom. I was rushed out of my room so I didn’t have the chance.” She said. “Then hurry we will wait.” Said Mrs. Bear. Then Jeimie ran out of the auditorium door. Then I looked at my vampire friend Jamal, where he was captured by one of my big sisters, Krystal, and some other soldiers who scavenged the woods for vampires who are our enemy. Then I see his blue eyes stare at me and I turned away from his eyes and looked at the stick that the Vice Principal gave me to kill him. Then Jeimie quickly runs back in with big and scared eyes. “What is it little one?!” asked Mrs. Bear. “There are some Vampires in the front of the school!” she yells then everyone of the graduating werewolves like me and Jeimie run out with some of the teachers or coaches we had over the five years we had to live here and learn who to kill vampires that is for the war that has gone on for centuries. Then the Principal and his Vice Principal run out too and they left me not noticing that I did not run out too. To see the vampires in the front of the school. When everyone was gone and there was complete silence I run over to Jamal. “Are you ok?” I ask taking off the bandanna that covered his mouth. “Yes. I have never been better.” He says in sarcasm. Then I take the wooden stick and cut the ropes that were holding his hands behind his back. Then he rubbed his wrists were the rope was. Then I quickly hauled him off the floor and pushed him toward some secret stairs. Then he looked back at me when I closed the door behind us. “Why were you not at the tree?” he asked me. The tree is where we first met and where we always meet. “Because after today you and me will become enemies.” I say starting to climb up the stairs. Then I heard footsteps behind me and I see him looking down at the floor and follow me. “Then why did you save me then?” he asked me. “Because I said after today. So today you are still my friend.” I say running back down towards him. Then he looks at me. As I look at his dark blue eyes. "Come on." I said after awhile of silence. After I grabed his hands I felt sparks, but I ignored it. When we got to the top of the castle, which is our school, I looked at Jamal who was still looking at the ground. "You can turn into a bat right?" I asked closing the door we just walked out of. "Yeah." he said finally looking at me. "Great. Now you can fly back to your graduation." I urged. But he did not budge. "What will happen to you when they find out I am missing?" he asks. "I will think of something." I said with a shrug. "Just go!" I Yelled. "Do you still wan't to be friends?" he asks sadly. "Let's just say, if I meet you in a battle I will spare you." I said then ran down the steps. When I opened the door only Jeimie was there waiting for me. "They are all still outside. Let's go before they catch us." She said pulling my hand. When we got outside everyone was looking confused. "Are you sure you saw them?" Mrs. Bear asked Jeimie. "Yes." Jeimie said. Then Mrs. Bear's face turned gray. "They must be inside." I said, she probably was thinking that. She nodded and ran inside. When she got back out, she quickly ran over to the principal. "What do you mean the prince is gone?" he asks. After he said that I looked at Jeimie who had the same face as me. "Jamal is a prince?" We both asked eachother. After the cermony we were sent to our room's to pack up. "I can't believe wewerefriends with the vampir prince." Jeimie said packing her things. "I know." I mumble. When we were finished, we followed the rest of the graduates to a train outside of the castle. "I hope we are on your dad's team." Jeimie squeled. I nodded, thinking about Jamal. When we got to the War Building there were five werewolves that were holding a billboard. As we got closer I saw there were names on it. "Please find the werewolf that has your name." said the train man. When we got off I saw my brother Brian. Then I looked at his billboard that had Jeimie's and my name on it. "Hey Brian." I said, trying not to embarras him. But instead he did it by hugging me in a huge hug. "Can't... breath." I stumbled. He then let go. "Hey Jeimie." he said waving at my friend. She nodded and stood behind me. "So are we on dad's team?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yep." he said happily. I nodded. When we walked into the building we were all seperated to see our leader's. We were all seated at a long table with a familiar man at the end. "Hi sir." I said sitting next to him. "Hi Blaire." he said giving me a hug. What is up with all these hugs. "I see you got through training." he said seriously. "Yes dad. Oh and this is my best friend Jeimie." I said pointing to my friend who was smiling her head off and waving. "Nice to meet you sir. Your daughter has talked alot of good things about you." she said lying. I only told her one thing about my dad. And it was not a happy thing to talk about. "I hope so." he said with a chuckle. Then we started our first session with our team. "You will all have partner's and some assistances the will help you around here. Go outside and they will show you around." my Dad said. We all nodded and walked outside. When we did I saw Brian and Ranel. "Girl's come with me and boy's go with Sargent Brian." said Ranel. After she did we sepperated into another group and were showed to our bunks. "Hey sis." Ranel said as I walked to the front of the line. "Hey. How is everyone here?" I asked looking at her with a smile. "Okay I guess." she said with a shrug. "Where is Blaine?" I asked her. "He is out at one of the war fields right now." she said with a frown. "So I heard you guys had a ball with vampires." she said plainly. That hit my chest like a gun throw, it made me think of Jamal. "Yeah." I said horsely. She nods with a frown. After she showed us to a bunk she left with some of the girl's to go to another bunk. Jeimie and I was left with three other girl's. "Hi, I'm Blaire." I said looking at the girl's I have never seen before. "I'm Haley." said a girl with dark red hair. After we all got acanted we found out the other girl's names were Georgia and Nelly. "Come on girl's." Ranel yelled from outside of the room. After we were finished with the tour we were left in the cafeteria to eat dinner, then go to bed. "Today was fun." Jeimie whispered. "Other than the Jamal problem." I whispered back. Then it was all quiet.
