I really don’t know how long I slept but when I woke up I didn’t have the sun to wake me up. My hands and feet were bound, I was in the dark. The drug still had a lasting effect on me which made me numb. I didn’t know much about where I was let alone Trianna. Kyah wasn’t in my eye sight; I was more worried for them than for me. I didn’t call out I didn’t want them to know I was awake.

I heard the sound of dripping water all around so I knew I was still on the boat. I needed to get out of there but I wanted to know where Kyah and Trianna were first. In order to do that they’d needed to speak up or someone come move me, but either of these things are unlikely.

I sat there in the dark for a long time, no one came to move me or see if I was awake. The drugs last effects wore off, which took away the numbness that kept the iron handcuffs from hurting me too severely.  I drifted into a non-drug induced sleep.

In my dreams I saw Trianna tied up like an animal. She was in a cage and each leg was tied to a separate iron handcuff. She looked worried and angry. She was fighting the bonds though it did no use for her, she wasn’t strong enough then. She fell into a fitful sleep and I ran my hand down her back, “Its ok Trianna we’ll get out of here.” In my dream I went looking for Kyah when I found her she looked terrible. She looked as if they had fun beating her up. Her lip was bleeding, her eye looked blackened. She coughed up blood mixed with her spit. They beat her!

I stormed back to my body angry that people would do such a horrid thing. I woke myself up and I stood up asking the sun not be on vacation. My hands danced in fire, my eyes too danced in fire. The iron melted like it was water. I went to the bars swiped my hands together and built up enough force to blow the bars out. Which didn’t take a lot of force; I moved to find my dragon. Once I found her I knew fire didn’t harm her I made a flamethrower out of my hand. Her cage and handcuff melted into nothing. She stood shook herself and climbed onto my shoulders.

We headed for Kyah, I hope she wasn’t too weak to stand because if not we are in so much trouble. When we reached her she was coughing, she lay weak sprawled on the floor. “Kyah!” I melted the bars and then her handcuffs. She moaned in protest when I picked her up.

“No, Ember stop!” she said frantically.

“No Kyah we’re getting out of here.”

“My leg, I think they broke it.” I laid her back down on the ground and went to look at her leg. It wasn’t broken but it was fractured in three places. I closed my eyes and laid my hands on her leg my fire shimmered and she gasped. When I opened my eyes I looked at her, “Better?”

“How’d you-“

“We both know that answer Kyah come on we have to leave now.” She nodded and stood up and we raced to higher grounds. Trianna wanted to fly while she could but I told her stay with me I wasn’t going to lose her again.

When we finally reached the deck I saw Galahad. I was still angry so my eyes and hands still we’re on fire. I could see we docked on a desert, so we are in Sol Kingdom.

“What do you mean you did not find them?”

“We went to the Isle like you asked. We could not find them we spent an entire day searching.” The Captain said. Galahad looked rightly upset, angry and about to kill. I ran from where we were.

“Galahad here we are!” He looked at me in disbelief then he looked back at the Captain.

“Didn’t find them ay?” The Captain looked around trying to think of something to say. “Ember what has you so upset?”

“Galahad this man beat Kyah her leg would have been broke if I hadn’t fixed her. He drugged us and tied us up. Even Trianna he put her in a bird’s cage!” I said nearly shouting. That set Galahad over the edge.

“You attack a Master on her journey to find her Guardian. You drug them, and think her Guardian with so low thought that you treat her like an animal!”

“To anyone who can’t hear dragons’ thoughts thinks that low of them.” The Captain said defensively.

“I can’t hear her thoughts and I think she is wonderful!” I said.

“She’d not old enough to say anything.” Galahad told me. He looked at Kyah, and then looked at the Captain, “You beat her for what? What has she done to you?” The Captain refused to talk. “For your crimes against Sol Kingdom you will be punished.” The Captain’s face didn’t change. “Turn so I can make sure you will not harm these ladies again.” The Captain did so; Galahad lifted water and wound it around his arms when it became ice, the Captain’s face reddened. “Walk.”

Galahad walked him to the nearest town which happened to be the capital of Sol Kingdom. Kyah needed rest so Galahad took us to my soon to be castle, so he could take Celsia back to Element Castle and back for us in three days.

He walked us in a young lady curtsied; she wore grey and had long blond hair with stunning blue eyes. “Hello Galahad. How can we be of service today?”

He pulled me away from Kyah and said, “This is Lady Ember Rain she is the new Fire Master. She just came back to the main land from Dragon Isle and their journey hasn’t been pleasant. Celsia isn’t strong enough to take more than two with baggage and Trianna as you can see is too young to carry herself much more than a simple glide. They need to stay here for about a week in till I can call the other Masters to insure they’re safe return.”

She nodded, “We will house them. Though you know this isn’t traditional. “

“Yes I know. Kyah is in need of medical help, Ember already healed her leg. But she is coughing up blood I think they might have broken a rib.”

“Couldn’t I fix that too?” I asked.

“I’m sure you could if you had some rest.” Galahad said. He nodded at the young girl she turned and called for help.

I looked at the castle then, the floors marble lined in gold. There was a huge chandelier completely made of gold with crystals flowing down from it, in the center of the ceiling.  The stairs circled around the room and the ceiling seemed to be as tall as the sky. The walls we’re lined with images of the sun and moon and stars.

As the people helped Kyah up the stairs and another waited for me to follow. Galahad looked at me like it was all ok. But that’s exactly what I thought before I was drugged and bound. He nudged me forward. Trianna climbed into my arms as we walked up the stairs.

The young woman with short brown hair shown me to my room curtsied, “Here Lady Ember.”

I walked inside and it was like a huge princess room you imagined when you we’re little. A huge four poster bed with golden sheets and pillows and a ruby down cover all made of silk. The walls were dark but they we’re homey to me. It was a lot more enjoyable in this room then the white one at Element Castle.

Trianna glided to the bed and ran to the pillows once buried deep in them she poked her head out and she seemed to enjoy herself. I couldn’t help but laugh. “We will bring you noon meal soon Lady Ember.” I nodded just wanting a good rest.

“Tell them to wait on Kyah don’t mess with her in till I can fix what can be fixed. Give her something to sleep or relieve her pain but don’t touch her wounds. I will take care of her after I rest.”

“Yes Lady Ember, I will tell them at once.” She hurried away. Now it was time for a nap. I didn’t want to worry about anything else so I crawled beneath my covers closed my eyes and quickly fell into the unknown.
