The Head Master led me down various hallways then came to knock on a door made of complete fire. The heat that rolled off felt good, giving me an extra boost. The fire was not as colorful as mine but it held tiny hints of red as the flame stood tall in blue, which made the fire look odd and unnatural.

“This is the Fire Form teacher. She is quite talented. Though she will only train you if you can pass through her ice fire.” The Head Master explained. “Once you step threw though you will be expected to learn everything she has to teach you. Should you learn everything, you will be required to learn your minor. I know we are a bit pressed for time so if you shouldn’t learn it I’m sure it’ll be just fine.” He said with a smile.

“Is that it?” I asked.

“For now it is all.” I nodded then looked at the door. If it was ice fire then it would most likely be the effects of fire with the temperature of freezing cold ice. So you would need an entire body cast of hot fire.

“You might want to shield your eyes.” I warned. Then I thought of the sun, the hottest fire I knew consisted on the fire ball light-years away. When I had the whole heat surrounding me I stepped through the barrier. I felt the ice try to cut through my rays so I thought harder on the heat wrapping around me. The farther I went in the cold flames the cold cut through my rays. The more ice hit me, the more it hit the less my heat stood a chance. I stood still for a minute, I went through all my memories of the warm sun; on the beach, it the woods, in the pool on Earth. Anywhere that reminded me of how hot and true the sun is. My light shone brighter than it had ever. I quickened my pace not knowing how long I had to go or how long I could keep the light going.

It didn’t take me long but when I made it to the other side I was sweating to keep the right amount of heat to keep the ice from freezing me where I stood. After so long with a constant heat to mimic the sun I was immensely tired. I pretty much collapsed after I was two feet away from the ice fire.

“Welcome,” a woman’s voice said. “I am Simmone the Fire Form.”

“Hi. I’m Ember.” I said standing. Simmone was tall and beautiful. She had black hair a complete replica of the night and golden eyes that shone like light. She was dressed in complete silver with gold designs covering her robe.

“Well Ember it seems you have a mighty destiny that awaits you.” She said while looking behind me.

“Hello.”  I gasped and looked behind me.

“How?” I asked amazed.

“The Head Master decided we should stay together.”

“Yes, Simmone this is Trianna. She’s my Guardian. Tri this is Simmone.”

“I am greatly honored to meet you mighty dragon.” Trianna bowed her head in response.

“You as well fair Fire.”  She said.

“Ember I must say we have much to do in little time. By seeing your dragon I can tell the world is about to shift. I will call to my friend Mystic for your water lessons. We will teach you together. For you have the balancing elements. We will keep it balanced as you learn what a Fire can do along with what Water can do. Tomorrow as the sun meets the horizon we will dine then begin.” She turned around and called. “Julian, we are in need of a larger room.”

“How large?” a man called from the other room.

“Big enough for a full grown female dragon,” She called.

“Do you know I have never in my life seen a dragon even as a hatchling?” His voice grew harsh.

“Then come here and then work your magic.” As instructed a tall boy with dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes walks from another room. He wasn’t any older than me. His jaw dropped and his eyes drew big as he caught sight of Trianna. In all his physical might he coward in the shadows.

“She won’t bite.” I said.

“We’ll see about that.” She said.

“Well Julian? Our guests require a room.” Simmone said harshly.

He turned to the wall and held up his hands, “Lorem ipsum ita magnum sicut draco.” the wall shuttered then gave away. It opened wide and full, it looked like a cave. Somehow I knew what he said, room create as big as a dragon.

“Thank you Julian. Now would you make sure Ember and Trianna receive a bed and dinner?” She said walking away.

“Sure.” He looked at Trianna will care. “If you come with me I will take you to our kitchens.”

“Will Trianna fit?”

“No. But I can arrange for her to be taken meat.”

“You okay with that?”

“Going to have to be, I won’t fit any need to make the halls bigger or have me get stuck.”

“I will see you when I get back. You are still going to have to tell me how you got thru the ice fire.”

“I will when you get back.” She chuckled.

I walked behind Julian. “So you’re the One huh? I mean after seeing Trianna kind of hard not to figure. Plus I saw you in the ice fire.”

“How is that? I thought it was like a chamber, point A to point B.”

“It is in a way. There are a little areas where it breaks off. Of course when you’re in it you can’t easily see them you’re more focused on keep moving. And I haven’t seen anyone’s fire gold before.”

“It technically wasn’t fire.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah that was the sun.”

“Then the fire would have gone out. The ice is meant to go out at a thousand degrees.”

“I wrapped the rays around me not extend them like I have before. Plus it’s a lot harder after night fall and in doors.”

“That makes since. Anyway I know you know but to properly introduce myself I am Julian. My major is Fire and my minor earth.”

“And you have the magic too?”

“Yes, found that one out when this Water bender decided to ice me.”

“Wouldn’t you just melt the ice?”

“I did. But I was so mad that along with my fire my magic wrapped around my counter attack.”

“What happened to the Water bender?”

“They are still trying to correct it. Actually they are trying to figure out the spell to correct it.”

“What happened?”

“He turned to stone in a way. The stone isn’t really stone it is hot to touch and changes.”

“Like the stone is melting and then changing into another type of rock?”

“That’s what they are saying is happening. But there isn’t one spell in the entire world that does that.”

“So what would happen to the bender?”

“It’s thought that as each year passes the stone changes and he grows one year older. Though as his human body dies, the stone will turn to dust and he will be dead.”

“That’s terrible. Is there anything you can do?”

“I was inexperienced and I didn’t say anything. So the spell isn’t really a spell. There isn’t really any way to fix a non-spell.” He looked at me. “Enough of me, Ember what about you?”

“Well, my major is Fire and my minor is Water. I have the ability of magic and the rainbow flame. I have the charm.” I said. “Plus I came from Earth.” I added.

“Well I must say you are beautiful.”

“Thank you,” I giggled. “You’re not so bad yourself.”

After that all we talked about was what we did in our free time and for the first time since I got to Unhillia I am actually enjoying someone else’s company. In the time of our conversation we had finished our meal and already headed back to the room he had created. Though this time in the room there was a bed for me and on the ground a large amount of fur that Trianna was already laying on. She lifted her head and looked at us. We must have been smiling and laughing because Trianna looked at me funny.

“What is so funny?” she asked.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She eyed me closely.

“I have to go; Simmone wants me to get things ready for tomorrows training session. You’re going to want all the sleep you can get.”

“Alright, see you tomorrow.” I said.

“By beautiful,” He pulled me into a quick kiss then left.

“What did I miss?” Trianna asked.

“I’m not sure.” I said. I didn’t worry about it that much I went to my bed as Trianna settled into her little nest. “Night Tri.”

“Night Em.”

And that was it. We both fell asleep. Tomorrow we start training. And we don’t know how long we have until the world calls for us. Until we are needed it might be good to learn a few things of our elements. The future is bright, that’s all we really have time to look forward to.
