As we reached the Volcano a storm began to brew. Lightning crackled and thundered roared as we thought about the next step.
"The last time I was here, all I had to do was step off the ridge. If I did that then the whole volcano might blow."
"Then give us enough time to get away." Kyah said.
"What about the wild life that will get ruined?" Isis argued.
"There’s nothing we can do, plants grow back. People don’t Isis get over it." Raine said.
"Look, we need to do this now or never." Shade called.
"Yeah we need shelter now this storm is about to-" Lightning it the eye of the volcano, causing it to open.
"GO!" I yelled over the roar that followed. In no time the top of the Volcano was down to two, Trianna and me.
"Ready?"
I asked.
"As ready as I will ever be."
Together we walked onto the eye of the volcano, once again it rumbled. New cracks formed on the surface. Hot lava oozed out.
Now as scary as this might be, the heat soothed me. The lava beckoned me, this was right. The volcano opened itself and pulled us into it. We swam in the lava it didn’t burn us; it was a part of us. This was every bit of home that I could remember.
Trianna’s scales crystallize and hardened. Instead of the sleek round scales they became pointed and jagged. She grew so much in the lava instead of her new height she had resonantly gained she was as broad as a mountain and as tall as the sun.
I couldn’t tell what I was happening to me. I felt my power increase and the lava wrapped around me. I knew I was changing I felt taller, stronger like nothing could ever get into my way. Then the volcano began to settle, all I had to go was think about surfacing and we were guided up.
When we surfaced the moon had reached the highest point in the sky. The volcano was asleep once more. I looked at myself. My black hair reached the floor. My gown was made of pure heat and fire a circulation of all the colors of fire.
I looked at Trianna, "I am the Fire Goddess."
"Well, well, well." I knew who it was. I turned to face my father. "Looks like I can’t stop you, but you’re friends. The next generation of benders they’re up for the grab."
"No," my voice was stern but crackled like living fire. ‘You will not hurt another." I thought about an iron cage just his size but where he had no way of contacting the outside word. Then he disappeared into it, "And now I know you won’t."
I climbed onto Trianna’s back and picked up the little cage. I left him on the castles doorstep and left the key on the Headmaster’s desk. I turned around and seen the Goddess.
"Welcome Sister." The Air Goddess said.
"Thank you."
"You’re work on Unhillia isn’t over yet." The Spirit Goddess said.
"Yes I know. I just set them back a while. Tomorrow is a new day with a new sun. A dawn of a new beginning. The Dawn of Ember."
"Yes, tomorrow starts afresh." The Darkness Goddess said. "The old circle has died."
"Let it wash away all traces of evil." The Water Goddess said.
We set off to the sky. The kingdom of the Goddess waits for the new Fire goddess. I looked at Trianna, this was our era.
