Eradonia
The fire was blazing hard, the intense heat of the flames from the explosion was staggering, spreading throughout the village like a plague of locusts. No house was safe from the blaring inferno, the flames reached every house and the cement caught fire.
Oil had been poured everywhere or something because even the streets themselves were on fire, Newman was pulling Kotani far from the village. Tring to put him in a safe place away from the danger.
He awoke in a sudden jolt, grabbing Newman instinctively and throwing him to the ground, putting his sword to his throat. Recognizing Newman for who he was he put the sword back and extended his hand to help him up.
Kotani looked back at the village, not hearing Newman’s concerned words. The attempts of putting out the fire proved to be as futile as running a race with no legs. No matter how much water was put on it, the flames kept on getting bigger and bigger, spreading from house to house.
Burning everything in its path, only the leader’s hall was untouched. It stood as a monument in a burning city, a reminder of what had once been but was no longer. Finally he turned to Newman and paid attention and said, " We need to help them, we have to save the village."
He began to run but Newman held him back, Kotani could have easily gotten out of his grasp but instead he turned around and asked, " Why are you holding me back? It may not be your village but it is mine, I must save it."
With reluctance Newman let him go, Kotani ran as fast as he could. As he ran his mind flashed back to the previous night. A lunar assassin had crossed the wall, and was about to kill Newman.
Kotani who was confident in his training went to interfere, and yet he had been taken out with extreme ease. The assassin had moved so fast, it was hard to believe his sword had been but millimetres away from decapitating him.
And now the assassin had destroyed their defence, whoever he was. And he was certain it was a man, he was extremely good. Possibly a new breed of assassin which would prove very dangerous.
Newman ran after him, this stranger from another world who were strange things on his eyes was no warrior or hero, but he had spirit. In time maybe he could become a warrior or hero, after all, Kotani had been born as part of a now extinct clan prone to reckless violence.
He had butchered many, he had been no hero but yet not, he was making an effort to be, and was treated as one. When they reached the village even the walls had somehow caught fire, that is when Newman said something very strange.
He yelled, " Its a roman fire, it’s the fabled roman fire." He laughed at himself and when Kotani looked at him in a puzzled manner Newman explained, " A fire that feeds off water, use sand or something else to put it out."
Not that Newman had any experience putting out fires, he never even went camping. Usually in Toronto, this sort of stuff was left for the firefighters. But yet he had watched that movie, Troy or one those war movies, that’s where he got his answer.
Kotani ran to relay the message to the leader, the giant of a man with his giant sword. As he gave the information the leader of the sun tribe, nodding his head yelled in a omnipotent voice, " Cease using water, form a line from the sand pit and use sand to extinguish this roman fire."
This was so movieish it was crazy, part of Newman still thought all this was not real, too whacked out of reality to be real. But what was reality really, it was what you perceived it to be. As he got in line they began to put out the fire.
Pail after pail of sand was passed along the line, Newman would have never seen such teamwork in Toronto, a large city full of busy people far too busy to help each other. Bums on the streets freezing, protests from various minority groups.
Newman had always thought someday whites would become a minority, and when that day came they would get no mercy from the others. But none of that was here, the town was in perfect harmony and peace.
After many hours of great struggle the fire was put out, the ground where the village once stood was charred black, smoke rising into the air giving a scent of burnt cement. The air was warm, part of the wall was demolished and the most damaging thing was the towers had been destroyed.
How would they defend themselves, the wall was broken leaving them open to Lunarite attacks day and night. Although it was highly doubtful they would attack during the day, it was a possibility.
Everyone had worked hard, men and women alike, sweating from all their hard work to put out the mighty roman fire. That is when the 8 foot tall leader went up in front of everyone, standing on the charred ground and began to speak.
" This is a tragic day, but we are not without hope. We still have a last line of defence, we cannot rebuild the city but we can rejoin our comrades in the smaller village. They may not have the defensive might we had, but they have managed to survive all this time."
The feeling of hope was still with these people despite the great tragedy, this was so like anime. The leader continued, " I Sunarite, brother and enemy of Lunarite shall bring us there, we will join their fight to bring down Lunarite. We will train hard, and we will become mighty warriors."
The whole crowd was cheering, Newman was far from being cheerful. How could these people be supporting him when what he was to keep on fighting. This must have been what Hitler was like, rallying his troops with smooth words.
" We leave now, our destination is far away and it will be a hard trial. We will venture through many leagues of obstacles, Lunarite will surely try to stop us. But we have hope, Kotani and a group of four he will form will run ahead and warn them of our arrival."
This sent more cheering throughout the crowd, he concluded his speech, " We will prevail over Lunarite and his vile cohorts, now everyone will see the power of the Sun tribe at its fullest."
As he left them cheering, Sunarite walked to Kotani and asked, " Do you anyone in mind for the team. You can have anyone you want, just choose."
This was an easy decision for him, he replied, " Yes I do, Korina my sister is a formidable warrior as well as healer. Gabriel and Jetslam your mightiest elite warriors and Newman, the human from another world."
The last choice was a surprise but the chosen were called, and they immediately left, on the quest to scout ahead and save the sun tribe from their imminent danger.

Interesting tactic, although Charlie could already tell it was a doomed plan from the start. From the knowledge and memories he now possessed he knew they would have to pass through the forest of temptation, a dangerous place where people could be imprisoned by their own selfish wants.
If they passed that obstacle they would be in the Aracodia Clan territory, a very violent clan that was believed to be extinct for a long time, even by Lunarite. But Charlie had found it in his memories, a very subtle proof they were still alive and as dangerous as ever.
There were many dangers after that, as much as he would have liked to trail them as they began, he had to report back to Lunarite. This information could be very pertinent for their victory, after he hoped he would be sent on their trail.
Newman was not up to the challenge, Charlie would enjoy to see this loser he had known since junior kindergarten stumble and ultimately fail, bringing down Kotani and the other more powerful warriors.
