Beep! Beep! Beep! I frantically smacked my alarm clock trying to shut it up. Finally I succeeded, I groaned and had a war with myself in my mind. Part of me wanted ten more minutes but the other said to get up now or never. I finally pulled back the covers and stood up quickly, too quickly. Blood rushed to my head and I blinked back color spots in my vision. I went downstairs. My dad being an early bird was already up sipping coffee and reading a newspaper. He glanced up at me as I made my way to the fridge.
"How did you sleep?" he asked only half caring.
"Fine." I replied. He just nodded. I quickly munched down some toast. I went back upstairs and threw on some black pants and a black fairy shirt. I brushed through my naturally straight black hair with blood red tips. I applied some mascara and eyeliner to my eyes and added just a touch of black eye shadow. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that I looked good today and I didn't even mean to. I laughed and got my backpack together. My Dad had gotten me a car for my sweet sixteen birthday two years ago! I had my drivers license and everything. Its nothing too fancy just a nice black car. I said goodbye to Dad and got in my car and drove to school. I found a parking spot and went inside. I slowly walked to my locker it was another day of boring old school. Though what was weird was that everybody was whispering and most of the girls were giggling. I wonder whats got them all excited. My best friend Aleisha skipped up to me suddenly appearing at my locker.
“So have you heard the news?” She began.
“What news?” I replied.
“You mean you haven't heard?”
“Obviously not besides I just got here.”
“Oh well four new way hot boys transferred to our school!”
“Really. Let me guess they play football have great bodies and wear preppy clothes.”I said only half interested.
“No though they do have great bodies they're totally hot! All the girls are calling them the 'Four Cuties'. Silly huh.”
“Ya.”
“Yes!” She squealed, “Well we better get to class the first bell already rang.” She said then kissed me on the cheek and skipped off down the hall. Aleisha had been my best friend for a long time and she was similar to me. She wore black shirts with colorful images and jeans. Her hair was blond with pink and blue streaks. I sighed and stalked off to my classroom, I walked in right as the bell rang. The teacher turned and looked at me but I ignored him and walked to my seat. Sitting in the seat next to me was a strange looking boy. He didn't look too strange just something was different about him. I went and sat down next to him. He had short black spiky hair. His skin was a little on the pale side, and his eyes were strangely a dark purplish color. Purple? Maybe its just me. He noticed me staring at him, turned and flashed a smile at me. My face probably turned bright red as I turned away from him. His teeth were straight and pearly white. Oh my gosh he is way cute! I've never seen him before so I bet he's one of the new boys. I looked up and almost all eyes were on him. The teacher was still teaching but he looked very annoyed. I wished that all the attention was away from my table, all of the girls in my class were glaring at me. I wonder what happened to that one girl who used to be sitting next to me. I spotted her even worse glaring eyes in the room hmmm thats weird I wonder why she was moved. The class was long and I just wished that it would end. Suddenly the bell rang and everyone jumped up and rushed out the door. I stood and gathered my stuff. I turned around and found that the cute boy who was sitting next to me was now in front of me. I made a little gasp and he chuckled but said
"Hey my names Adrian! Sorry I didn't get to talk to you before." He smiled a perfect smile. My face flushed and I said
”My names Alex.” He chuckled again and said
"I'll see ya around Alex." He turned and walked off in quick long strides. I walked to my next class the whole time I was thinking yay I got talked to by the new hot boy. I even know his name its Adrian. I got to my other class and went and sat in my assigned seat. Instead of the person who originally sat next to me there was a boy I'd never seen before. Why do I keep getting the new boys next to me? This boy was different too. He had brown messy shaggy hair that was everywhere! His clothes were loose and ripped with a couple grass and dirt stains. His eyes a light brown, he was amazingly cute too. He smiled an eager hyper smile at me and I smiled back not sure what to think. He held his hand out to me and said
“My name is Matt!” I took his hand which we shook while I said
“My name is Alex.”
“Its good to meet you Alex!” He replied as the bell rang so we had to stop talking. That class went fine, boring but fine. At the end of class Matt said goodbye to me and zoomed off to his other class. Wow that boy has too much energy! I walked to my next class slowly wondering if yet again I'd be seated by one of the other 'Four Cuties'. I went to my assigned seat and yet again there was another boy that I didn't recognize. He had long electricity yellow hair. Wow that could be blinding and annoying if it weren't so cool! He had bright blue eyes. He turned to me and took my hand kissing it lightly he said
“My name is Blake.
“Alex.” I responded kind of dazed by his gentleman like manner it was so cute. His face was handsome but i preferred different kind of boys. His clothes were elegant and expensive. He was most likely the son of a rich man. In all the classes all the girls keep glaring at me and staring at the boy next to me and its really getting on my nerves. Its not like I asked to sit next to them. Finally the bell rang I got up as did Blake.
“Please allow me to walk you to lunch.” He said taking my stuff for me.
“Uh... ok.” I said a little confused but I followed him all the same. While we walked to the cafeteria we didn't talk much except for some small talk. When we got there I took my stuff from him and we parted ways. I went and sat down at my regular table that had some of my friends on it. Aleisha don't really eat lunch at school so I just sat down listening to some of my friends talk while I waited for Aliesha. I looked around and spotted one secluded table. It was in a corner farthest from everyone though everyone had their eyes on it. The 'Four Cuties' sat there. The girls whispered and giggled to each other always glancing at the table. I recognized three of them. One was that nice boy with the black hair in first hour. The other was the other boy with brown hair from second hour. The other two had their backs to me but I recognized Blake's long electricity yellow hair. How does he get away with that hair? The other one had semi-long black hair with blood red streaks. Just then Aleisha came and sat next to me. She started talking about the four boys and glanced at their table
“Aren't they so hot!” she squealed.
“Ya.” I had to admit.
“I don't know their names yet nobody's really talked to them.” She sighed.
“I have. I sit next to three of them in my classes.”
“Your kidding!” She said in surprise.
“Nope. The blond's name is Blake, the brown haired one is Matt, and the one with short spiky black hair is Adrian.” At his name Adrian's eyes flickered to mine. He smiled and went back to what he was doing. The one I hadn't met turned to me and quickly looked away. What was that for? He got up swiftly and glided out of the lunch room. The others followed shortly after.
