"Wake up Shane. Keep your mind open, and wake up! Now open your eyes." Shane awoke in his bed sweating. He huffed and fell back into his pillow. "Carmen I have to help you somehow," he whispered in the darkness. "You can help her Shane." Shane jumped to his feet, "Wa? Who's there?" A girl with wild brown hair with a flower crown stepped out the shadows. "Tis I, Persephone, a conceous fairy," she said sweetly. Shane touched her shoulder, "You're really real!" Persephone smiled.

Shane noticed she really was a fairy. She had light blue wings, a nice smile, a leafy dress, and a life amulet. "Can you please help me? A guy named Shadow, I think, kidnapped my best friend Carmen. What do I do?" Persephone sat on his bed, "Shadow took her from you did he?" Shane nodded, "And I want her back here." Persephone's life amulet glowed, "You really want her back huh? Well first you must learn your purpose." Shane scratched his head, "Purpose?" Persephone handed him a staff with a moon shaped crecent. "This only works for you Shane. Once in your posetion and you learn the right spells, you can defeat Shadow. But first, we must go to the world where this war is happening, Clingletor. In Clingletor is the Kingdom of the Black Feather. There is Shadow's masters, Gemini. The twin's of darkness. You must go in the heart of the castle and destroy the statue of th dark fairy, Lunell."

"Well when I defeat Shadow can I get Carmen back?" Shane asked staff in hand. Persephone nodded, "Yes. But the both of you must defeat Gemini and break the statue. Because only love can clear darkness." Shane blushed, "Who said I loved Carmen?" Persephone laughed, "I never said that you did silly gumgworf." Shane scratched his head, "Yeah, gumgworf. So when do we go?" Persepone opened a portal, "Now. So grab the Moon staff and come in." He walked toward the spiraling portal then jumped in with Persephone.

Blank. Darkness. "Shane open your eyes... Shane... We're here," Persephone whispered. Shane's eyes flickered open and he saw Persephone's sparkling blue eyes staring at him. She was to close so he scooted back, "Where exactly is here?" Persephone helped him up, "Look around! Where in Clingletor." Clingletor was a small village. Gypsy children played in the streets by merchant stands. To Shane, it looked like Aladin without sand and the people dressed differently. Persephone took Shane's shoulder, "You have to go to Norm's house."

Persephone seems like a nice addition to the story, I like the work being done, still a few errors, though, but I'm still enjoying the novel
