Carmen awoken. Eyes red from crying she guessed. She was in an all white room wearing a white dress. "Hey, my cloths," she whispered. She didn't feel her hair on her shoulders. She quickly felt her head to check for a bare head. No, her hair was just in a sloppy bun with a beautiful white flower holding it. She heard whispering outside the white door. She walked over towards the door (they also took her shoes and replaced them with white flats).

It was Shadow and Sukii talking. "See what kind of angel she is, make it fun," Sukii whispered. Shadow bowed and walked toward the door. Carmen ran to the bed and sat. Shadow came in. Carmen gave him such a cold stare without even knowing it. "I have news from Clingletor," he hissed. "And," she said sarcastically. "And we have news about Shane," Shadow went on. Carmen leaped to her knees, "Really? Is he on his way to-"

"Heaven yes," Shadow finnished. "What?" Carmen choked out. "He's dead Carmen. A deamon killed him," Shadow went on with a grin. Carmen's already red eyes teared, "You're lieing!" Shadow sat on the bed beside her, "Sorry Carmen but I'm not. If theres one thing I'm not, it's a lier." Carmen wailed, "Yet you're a kidnapper!?!" Shadow put his hand on her shoulder. Carmen slapped his hand away, "Stop it! It's cruel enough you seperated us, now this!?!"

Shadow looked at Carmen with his dead icey blue eyes. "At least you get to stay with us," he said eyes glowing. Carmen shook her head, "No because he isn't dead. At least I don't think so." Shadow scooted closer to her, "I could be your new Shane. I'm only four years older than you." Shadow's eyes glowed a highlighter dark blue. Carmen was officially hipnotized. Shadow held her hand, "No worries Carmen, I'm not dieing any time soon."

Carmen's heartwas lost in a blue world. Dancing on clouds, while her soul was basically in Shadow's grasp. Shadow put his hand on Carmen's cheek. Then he leaned in for a kiss. Just then something in Carmen's mind clicked. A memory of Shane going on a vacation for a year when they were ten. Shane said he would be with her in her heart AND soul. The spell broke.

Carmen's lips froze. Then she smacked Shadow in the face full force. Shadow's head flung to the left. He put his hand on his cheek. "I see you're back," he said calmly. Carmen looked at her hand then at Shadow. Shadow smiled like nothing happened. Then the smile turned into unstopable laughter. Shadow plopped on the bed. "What's the point. I bet I'd be your first kiss anyway," he finally spoke.

Carmen was disguisted with him at this point. "Might as well want to be prepared for Shane right?" Shadow said looking Carmen in the eye. Carmen smiled, "Rather lick a living pig." Shadow shrugged, "All I want to do is see what angel you become. Just to let you know I wasn't going to kiss you. I was going to give you this tag." Carmen lokked at him, "What does the tag do?" Shadow shrugged, "Identification in this world. If you're found on the streets without one of these you get executed."

Carmen gulped, "Uh, can I have my tag now?" Shadow did an evil smile, "Sure." He sat up and looked Carmen in the eye. He liftes her chin with his hand. "Hurry up," Carmen grumbled. Shadow smiled, "Trying to find a good angle." Shadow leaned in. Then he kissed her. Carmen tried to pull back, but Shadow helt her still. She felt stupid for falling for that dumb trick. Just then she felt a tingling in her back. Shadow let her go and stepped back. "Finally," he whispered.

Carmen's back glowed a bright clean white. Then white feathery wings sprouted from her back. Carmen rolled onto the floor in pain. Shadow picked her up, "Damn she's a heavenly angel." He placed her on the bed. He gently kissed her sleeping body and she turned back to normal.
