I must warn you that this version contains foul language, sensual scenes, intense violence, black magic, blood, guts and gore ( No I do not have issues, I wrote this because I could. And just so you know, there's a reason there's the R rating, because I decided not to g rate everything, I realised if I am to describe evil I can't censor it.) View table of contents...

The Farm Life

18 years later...

The bright glaring sunrays of the midday sun gleamed off Adonis’ tanned torso with the intensity of a thousand volcanoes. Beads of stinking sweat trickled off his face as he hacked the hard ground savagely with the hoe. Preparing it for the planting of the corn, out of all the lands why was he stuck with the hardest.

The farm life was all Adonis had ever known, all he truly believed he would ever know as long as he lived. His entire existence he had prepared and cultivated the crops, tirelessly woke up earlier than the others each morning to milk the cows.

He fed all the animals, the pigs and the cows and the chickens. He had fed the ox and horses as well until they’d been killed by what appeared to be a wolf attack, but Adonis knew better. Every menial task associated with being a farmer boy was as much part of him as his limbs.

His sister was not as hard working, being of incredible beauty she was often off in town with her boy friend, sir Ronaldo the knight. They went off into the forest and into town every day, what they did there Adonis did not like to think about.

As he worked he always though about things, and despite spending his entire life on the farm he felt as though he was called for a higher purpose. His reasoning for this was partially due to the fact he differentiated from his parents in so many ways.

Where Adonis was optimistic, always seeing the silver lining in the dark clouds, his parents were pessimists. The could look over the most flawless silver medallion, the sun shining off of it showing its beauty and spot an imperfection even if there were no imperfections to behold.

Even his physical appearance bore no resemblance what so ever to that of his parents. They had rough peasant-traits such as curly brown hair, chubby faces and dull brown eyes.

Adonis on the other hand had fair, some might say, royal qualities such as shoulder length silver hair that accentuated his pure ice blue eyes. The thought crossed his mind at times that they were not his real parents; only to be put aside as nothing but a premature childish concept, everyone knew adoptions were simply unheard of in small towns, even less so in the country lands surrounding the towns.

Finally done that work he walked into the barn, ready to start the hay. He could hear a sound in the far end of the barn, taking his machete out that he carried around for protection from animals he investigated.

The noise came from the hay room, he was going there anyway so it was no trouble to investigate. Walking slowly he kicked the door open, only to find Jolene laying naked in the hay. Her knight with shining armour on a post was over her, he watched for a second as they made love in the hay.

Now for the fun part, he coughed out loud, catching their attention. They both fell to the ground in shock, startled by the interruption. The knight quickly covered himself, they both glared at him with anger.

Adonis smiled sheepishly and said, " Pardon the interruption, but I have to do the hay. Just be glad it wasn’t father that walked in eh? Don’t worry, I’m leaving."

************************************************************************

Adonis left the room, Ronaldo wanted to keep on going but Jolene was out of the mood now. Not bothering to get dressed she waited as he put his clothes back on. She could tell he liked her body, the way his eyes kept on going down to her breasts.

He said in a concerned voice, " How will you keep him from speaking of this with your father. If word goes out that I am involved with you, I could lose my knighthood."

She sighed, putting her rag dress back on she replied, " Don’t worry, I’ve caught him plenty of times with that little friend of his, Julia. He still owes me."

There was no relief in Ronaldo’s face, as a high ranking lawman he could not risk getting caught. She knew he did not love her, just as Jolene had no love for him. He taught her how to use fight with a sword and supplied her with pleasure, that was good enough for her.

As he left, returning to duty he walked by Adonis. Eyeing him suspiciously he decided he did not want to risk it. Pulling out his sword he kicked Adonis to the ground, having more training he pointed the sword at his throat and threatened, " Any of this ever comes out and I will kill you."

Adonis grinned at this, not being afraid in the least and retorted, " I never had any intention of telling, but if we meet again you will see how dangerous a farmer can be."

They glared at each other for a moment, nothing but hate between them. Any wrong move could mean a fight to the death, however Adonis did not move. Ronaldo put his sword back and walked out, brushing his wavy blond hair with his fingers.

For a knight he was very vain, it was rare that his hair was out of that wavy style. His armour always polished, his walk had a perfect pace to it. No wonder his sister was into him, but he would never be able to live the farm life.

Thinking about his sister’s love life was depressing, he had a love life of his own to think about. He’d know Julie ever since he was an infant, one of the few to actually attend school they became really close.

He was going to marry her, he’d been saving money to get his friend Jacob to make her a ring. It wasn’t his speciality but he did it for a hobby, and Adonis had seen some of his work, it was nice.

Suddenly Ronaldo came running back into the farm, his armour making a rattling noise. He could tell by his run and his facial expressions that he was afraid. Looking over his shoulder he ran through the farm and dived into a fresh pile of hay.

Adonis frowned at this when three other law enforcers came in running after him, two of them looked for him as the tallest of them went to Adonis and asked, " Where’s Ronaldo? I know he came in here."

This was a perfect moment, I could have Ronaldo out of my sister’s life for good. All I had to do was tell them where he was, and so I did. " Right in that pile of hay. Hiding like the little chicken shit he is."

The three soldiers dragged him out of the hay, Ronaldo resisted but they overpowered him. He wriggled in their arms, they dragged him in the middle of the farm when the Coronian assassin came in.

He had a mirror mask, so when he looked at him he could only see his reflection. His eyes glowed pure yellow, Adonis was hidden at this point behind of the cows. This seven foot tall assassin, armed to the teeth for war ordered, " Ronaldo, been busy fucking commoners have you? Naughty little knight, I really thought you would know better."

Motioning for the other guards to let him go, Ronaldo stood up. Usually the tall one he seemed small compared to the tall assassin. Ronaldo begged, " Its not true, I haven’t even talked to a commoner. Who told you that?"

The assassin shrugged his head and answered, " A little bird told me. And lust screws with one’s head, clouds it up with fantasies and strange concepts of love."

His arms suddenly blurred into motion, when they stopped both his falcata blades were in hand, Ronaldo’s begging face was still there as his head fell off. He turned to the guards and said, " Clean this mess up, I got this all cleared with the owner of this place. This is all legit, no worries soldiers."

Finishing with that statement he sheathed his swords and walked out of the farm. That mirrored mask would stay in Adonis’ mind as long as he lived, how he had killed Ronaldo without even an ounce of remorse. He even sounded like it amused him, and his way of speaking was very strange.

After the mess was cleaned up, Adonis finally came out of his hiding place. Finishing his chores he skipped supper and went directly to bed, but his sleep was not a peaceful one.
