Ch. 1 Arrival
My eyes scanned my room. Darkness had completely engulfed it. Screamo music blared through my stereo speakers. Frost bitten wind nipped at my skin. I kept my apartment freezing cold and it drove others crazy but that was the best part. Sighing, I sat up my bangs fells in front of my left eye. My thoughts wandered searching for someone’s thoughts hoping that I would find Chris’s.
I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. My hand grasped a dagger lying on the coffee table tightly. I stretched out and chucked the dagger at the ceiling. Footsteps filled my ears. Cars rushed by. My eyes closed and I soon fell asleep.
The sound of tapping could be heard clearly… well to me it could. Chris’s thoughts filled my mind. My music still blared through the speakers. I rolled onto my side so my back faced the door. Soon the front door flew open. “HONEY I’m HOME!” Chris yelled. Rolling over I ended up on the floor. “Sheesh do you have to be so loud?” I asked glaring at her. “And I’m not gay.” I declared in a negative tone while standing up. My ability to read thoughts sometimes drove me insane; especially when Chris thought that I was gay.
