Back in the cold, dark dungeon, Jesse was deep in thought. She sat their on the floor thinking about what had happened between her and Storm. When she hugged him, she felt something, something inhuman about him like he was hiding inside. Then out of now were, a girl popped up!
“Who are you?!?” Jesse shouted
“Ha! She doesn’t know who we are!” said the girl to another girl that was now sitting beside her. Before long, there were four young girls sitting in front of her. They were all dressed in elegant dresses, but the dresses were all black and the girls’ made Jesse feel uneasy.
“You’re joking right? You really don’t know who we are?” said one of the girls.
“Crime! Do remember that this is the first time we have been out in this kind of manor” Shouted another girl, to Jesse this girl seemed to be the oldest.
“We’re sorry to intrude with out being asked but we’ve been locked up in that dreadful locket for centuries.” The girl pointed to the locket on Jesses neck “My name is Disease, and these are my sisters, Sorrow, Vice, and you met Crime and the little one there is Poverty” as Disease said the names of her sisters she pointed to them. Sorrow looked like she had just lost her best friend; she had long black hair and small black eyes that looked like they could pierce through you like a sword it you looked at her to long. The next was Vice. She had the same long black hair as her sisters and small black devilish eyes; she kept staring at Jesse like she was watching to make sure she didn’t do any thing. The third was Crime who at the moment was in a dark part of the room sneaking around looking for some thing to steal but Jesse got a good look at her face. She was one of the prettier sisters; she had long red hair but the same black eyes. The last one was Poverty; she was a cute little girl of about 6 or 7 years old. She had long black hair like her sisters did but she had big blue eyes. To Jesse she didn’t look like an evil little girl like her sisters were.
“Well then, now that we are all acquainted lets get started!” Disease said to Jesse helping her up.
“Lets get started doing what?” Jesse asked trying to brake away from Diseases hard grip.
“Oh my darling, you are so bad, I’m not going to believe that you don’t know what we’re going to do” Disease said, Jesse just looked at her blankly.
“Oh for the love of all that is bad, she has no clue what is going on” said Crime who had stopped sneaking around long enough to give Jesse a smack on the back of the head.
“Ouch! That hurt! Listen I’m sorry that I don’t know what is going on but that is no reason to hit me!” Jesse said standing up and getting up close to Crimes face, Crime raised her hand to slap Jesse again but stopped when Disease grabbed her hand and swung her across the floor.
“Listen up!” She screamed “We have a job to do so let’s get down to business and do it!”
“Yes Sister” was all that the others could say. The four girls came together in a small circle and started to chant a song;
“To the great night we give praise
For to you our duty lays
What we have lost now is found
Come to us while you’re around”
Then a cold wind came rushing in to the room like a herd of horses that were startled by a wild killer. Then a figure came from the corner of the room.
“Evening my children nice to see you back to your old selves” said a woman dressed in a long black cloth cloak. When she dropped the cloak Jesse say a slender young woman who surprisingly looked like her. The woman wore a long black dress with red sleeves that hung loosely on her arms. Like Jesse this woman had a pretty face with blue eyes and a nice complication.
“Now my children who have we here?” said the woman walking over to Jesse and stroking her blond hair.
“This is Jesse mama, the one you’ve been waiting for” said Disease
“Are you sure, the last person you thought was the one blew up when she say me” Said the woman throwing her arms up in the air
“My lady we are certain that this is her” said Crime “She showed no fear of me she even yelled back when I slapped her”
“ENOUGH!” the woman boomed “Jesse is that your name?” Jesse nodded
“Good children you have brought me to the right girl, is she ready or not”
“No mama, she is not ready, she didn’t even know who we were when we revealed our selves to her” said Disease
“You showed your selves to her and she didn’t even know who you were!!! Are you stupid? I should blow you up for this I should make sure you never see the night again I should…”the woman was cut off by Jesse screaming
“Stop it! This isn’t about them! If you haven’t noticed, I have no clue what is going on here! I’m still trying to figure out how these girls came out of my father’s necklace!”
“I’m sorry my child I should have been more kind, I’ll take care of you girls later as for right now back in to your home” said the lady to the sisters
“But my lady...” Crime started to protest
“NOW!!!” the lady screamed and with that the 4 girls disappeared back in to Jesse’s necklace. Now it was just Jesse and this mysterious woman. The woman looked at Jesse and at what Jesse was wearing.
“My child I will not have a great granddaughter of mine be seen in those clothes!” and with that the woman made Jesse stand up and with a flick of her hand Jesse was dressed in a fine light blue dress. The dress fit her very nicely; it was a long dress and had a silver tint to it. Jesse twirled around admiring her self. Then Jesse ran and hugged the woman watching her.
“Thank you, thank you!! Thank you so much” Jesse said letting go of the woman.
“Now my child, I know who you are, and it is very clear to me that you have no idea who I am” Jesse nodded her head “That’s quit alright, my name is Pandora goddess of what I like to call ‘getting in trouble’.” Jesse looked at her blankly not fallowing her “I see I’m going to have to take this a little slower”
“Yes please” Jesse said
“All right were to start, were to start? Oh I have it! I’ll tell it to you in a story form. Once upon a time, in a land far, far from here there once lived a girl. She was a beautiful girl but she had a way of getting in trouble a lot! Well one day she found a box, it was small but covered in rubies and diamonds, the girl just couldn’t resist, she had to see what was inside. But when she opened it swirls of black came rushing out but before the most important thing could get out she shut the box and ran to get help. Her friend then locked up all the black swirls in your necklace. He then said that the only way to pay them back for what the girl had done was to hind my great, great, great granddaughter who had the last and most important thing inside her”
“What is it?”
“Hope my dear, the greatest thing is hope” the woman passed and let Jesse think for a minute.
“I get it now”
