Chapter 1
Will that woman ever shut up? 16-year old, Bonnie Roberts looks out her window, as she listens to her iPod. She hears her Aunt Marie yelling at the T.V. while getting drunk again. If only she wishes her parents came back. Then she wouldn't have to sit in her room, listening to sad love songs. James broke up with Bonnie last night, after telling her, that he was seeing her best friend for over a month. Now she only has music, and herself.
Come with me, and you'll be in a world of pure imagination...
She closed her eyes, and started to think. Her mind was empty. Not once in her life had she thought of something happy. Not even with James was she truly happy. All he ever did was hang out with his friends, and drink. He never paid any attention to her. But she waited for him to come around. She waited, and waited for him, until she realized that he was never interested in her. He was interested in Elena. So now, she has no one to turn to.
"Turn that crap down! That horrible sound is hurting my ears!"
Bonnie went to her iPod, and turned it off. She picked up a picture of her parents smiling at each other. It seemed like only yeasterday they were killed by a drunk driver. That night she found out that the drunk driver was her Aunt.
I loved them, she thought. It was bad enough they were killed, but then having your own flesh and blood be the cause of it makes it even worse. After a minute of thinking, Bonnie went to her desk, and started to write.
Dear friend,
I have no one else to turn to. Everything I had is gone. My parents, my friends, and my happiness. I don't know why God took everyone that I loved away from me. I don't know what his reason was, but now I have nothing, but my alcoholic Aunt who thinks I'm worthless to her. All I do is lock myself in my room, and just sit here. I'm not happy, and I'll never have anything to be happy about again. If you find this, I need someone. Someone who understands me.
Sincerley,
Bonnie
She put the letter in an envelope, opened her window, and watched the letter blow away with the wind. Somehow, she knew she was gonna find happiness again.
