It’s been a week since Haydien and I stepped through the door to the beach house and everything was going perfect but when the fire burned in my chest and my throat burst in flames and tightened I knew it was time to hunt........to feed ............off a human

“Jesse you have to imp not going to say it again you will die if you don’t” Haydien said

The sound of approaching foot steps

And then he pulled away

“Jesse how do you feel”

We stared into one and others eyes and then he smiled

“Okay but I didn’t even know there was a cave”

“Ya I found it a couple of days ago”

But he laughed and dragged me out of the beach house we walked along the beach a bit and then we came to the end and he pulled me up a little path and then we were standing in front of the most beautiful inlet the water came in softly and there were rocks around the cave entrance but the cave was mostly submerged by water and the moon hit the water and cast shadows onto the rocks

“It’s beautiful”

“now as you can see we won’t be actually going into the cave but you see those rocks over there” he said and pointed to the rocks at the far end and then I saw it I hadn’t been paying attention apparently because now I could see little white candles trailing up the rocks and then to a flat area right in the middle of the water just above it so it wasn’t getting wet and on it was the white blanket from the bed in the beach house it was like something out of a fairy tale and I felt like I was in one

“It’s gorgeous” I whispered

“I want to show you what happens when there are no interruptions” he said in my ear and my body became all tingly

His fingers went down my spine

“I want to show you that there is no one besides me and you”

His fingers traveled up my spine and then down my left arm and then he turned me around slowly, and his hands went down my sides and down my waist till they came to the bottom of my shirt.... I thought he was just going to take it off but he didn’t.... he pulled it up half way and then stopped

“Maybe we should get over there before I get to carried away” he said and so we walked around and stepping along his candle path until we came to the white blanket that the moon was shining on

He pulled me into him gently and then we both sat down and he was just lightly tracing his fingers across my body and I leaned in for a kiss but he backed away

....now what?

“Jesse lies down and closes your eyes”

“Haydien you know I can do this with my eyes open I don’t like when I can’t see what is going on”

“Stop whining and just lie down and close your eyes” he said in a whisper

I laid down and I felt his hand go up my leg and over my knee and went up my thigh and then my hip and then to the bottom of my shirt and he lifted it up a bit and I felt his lips press to my skin and I shuddered a bit and then the shirt moved up more and his mouth followed up he lifted the shirt up and off of me while holding me up slightly and then he laid me back down and his mouth found my neck and he kissed up my jaw and went to my cheek not once touching my lips with his, his hand traveled up my side and I was about to crush myself to him when he spoke

“Jesse just lay still just because I am pre occupied doesn’t mean I am not listening to your thoughts now lay still”

“I’m just here to pass on a message”

“From whom” I snapped again

But he ignored me and talked to Haydien

“So you’re getting married well I hope everything goes well we wouldn’t want anything to happen to the lovely bride” Vincent said and it sounded like a threat

A low growl escaped Haydiens lips

And that’s when I lost it I just snapped and I wanted Vincent the hell out of here so Haydien and I could be together we just had the best evening ever and then this fucker had to ruin it and I had had it I wasn’t going to take any more of it and besides every word Vincent was saying was making Haydien more and more upset so I snapped

I was going to hit him I wanted to but Haydiens arm was holding me back

So I improvised

I walked back to Haydien while Vincent stood up and his nose was bleeding

Vincent left the beach house and I wrapped my arms around Haydiens waist

I pulled away and looked at him and smiled at bit

“We should get back I have to talk to Shane and arrange more security” Haydien said and I nodded

We grabbed our stuff and got into the car and drove back down the road that didn’t even look like a road

When we walked back in Haydiens.....mansion Shane was on us like a little kid on candy

“Haydien Jesse I see you had fun – now that your back there are some things that need to be sorted out”

“Hmm really like what” Haydien said

“Well there is the matter of your birthday tomorrow” Shane said and shot me a glance

“What? ....your birthday and why didn’t you tell me?” I asked and shoved Haydien a bit

“First off I don’t want a birthday second you didn’t need to stress and thirdly I don’t want anything and fourthly I have too much stuff to do and fifty......” I stopped him there

“You know what I think?”

“I don’t care if you don’t want a birthday and I don’t care if you don’t want anything and I don’t care that you have stuff to do and don’t use me as a excuse” I said and linked arms with Shane and left Haydien standing by the door

“So what are we doing for his birthday” I asked Shane

“I don’t know I was hoping you would think of something”

I rolled my eyes
