Dark Destination 1
Hope
He silently wrapped his child in a silver blanket, assuring that his child was asleep and well. The first few months were always difficult. Especially trying to hush the child's harsh crying, which was the most difficult time of her infant life. The infant was never calm, it was as if the child never felt safe. But, he knew the reason why the infant was crying. He understood it well and there was nothing that he could do, but hope that whatever his child need would come to her soon.
He bent over and kissed his child's forehead, brushing away the infant's dark black hair from her pale cheeks. He smiled at her, wishing that she was free, wishing that she could go anywhere instead of this hell hole that he have been his whole entire life. He hated this world that he was in. It was always so—lonely and sad. He felt trapped and suffocated in this place. Only once in his life, just once, have he seen the Sinirus burning bright across the sky. It felt warm, free, and wished that he could have stayed longer. He couldn't, he was bound by chains, he was a slave to Sylpheria and same goes for his child. But, his child was the one who couldn't have any freedom. There were more restrictions on her.
Suddenly, he felt it. He felt a sharp, quick pain striking inside his head for a few seconds. It was usually a warning sign and knew what was happening. He felt the dimension being torn down by force. Sylpheria wouldn't allow anyone to enter it's core. But, whoever did, must have found Sylpheria's weakness and notice when Sylpheria is almost at breaking point. He knew whoever who entered here had one reason. To have his daughter at all cost.
He kissed his child one more time, stood up, and left his child sleeping on the harsh, cold place. In this world, there were no ground. Just plain blackness that surrounded him and his child. They were the only one there. No one else existed there.
He felt the dimension's thread weave together quickly, closing it's gap to prevent any further intruders from entering. Then, the torn was completely closed and healed.
He raised his hand, commanding for a portal to be opened. Only he could tear the dimension because he carried that power and blood of the Iphernal Reknia.
He entered the portal as it opens, then commands it to close immediately. He had to get rid of the intruder who entered here. He had to make sure that they don't make it out alive. He then commanded another portal to be opened and slowly, it did. He stepped out of the portal and stopped. He quickly covered his nose, surprised. This was his second time in his life down in this world smelling it, that thick, strong smell of red blood. Sylpheria must have injured them as they tried to rip the dimension.
He looked down, seeing a man covered in blood. His bones on his right arm and both of his legs looked completely shattered. The man had difficult breathing, perhaps a sign that his rib cage must have piece his lungs. He didn't care. He had to kill that man. Whoever entered here always had a goal. Usually, it was to take him away, but this time, it was his daughter. He must not allow them to take his daughter away from him.
He bent down, touching the man's back, right where the heart was. He was alive. He then close his eyes, seeking information of how he had entered here. He then reach for his head, going deeper into his memories. Entering it while the man was still in sleep.
He opened his eyes. It was raining, dark, and smelled somewhat muddy, with a hint of blood in it. He was in the intruder's mind, he saw everything from the intruder's perspective.
He felt his heart beat fast. He felt angry, for some reason, felt accused. Yet, there was no feeling of regrets. He looked up, there, a man with a hood that covered his face swung his sword down, leaving a cut starting from the top left shoulder down diagonally to the belly. He felt the himself fall onto the ground, unable to get up. He then look around while lying on the floor. He saw that there were others who was there. There were at least a crowd of them covered in grayish green hoods that blends in with the trees and darkness that surrounded them. He felt himself grit his teeth. He then look at the man who had cut him down, and realized that there was another man behind him. That man was trying to open the portal, tearing down the threads that held the dimensions together.
Someone then cut the man down, the one who tried to sever the threads. "Useless, usless fool! We have no need for fools, the weak, and the pathetic ones," said the man in a red hood, the only one who was wearing red. "We shall sacrifice your blood to the Sylpheria. Right now, Sylpheria is in need for blood of a man who had his hands tainted." The man in the red hood then grabbed the dead man's neck harshly, breaking the bones and meat that attaches to it's body. The head came off completely with pieces of flesh on his hand. The man quickly grabbed the head and shoved it into the portal.
The intruder tried to get up to escape, but he couldn't. He was paralyzed. The man in the red hood looked directly at him, at the intruder. The man smiled and pointed at him, showing his wrinkles on his forefingers and short yellowish nail. "Knock him out. Let Sylpheria get rid of our evidence. Sylpheria itself will not know what has happened."
The intruder struggled to fight off the paralysis, but failed. He could only move his eyes around and his head, just a little. He turned away, looking at who's behind him. As he turned, the intruder's eyes met someone who was in a distance from him. He knew who that person was. For some reason, he felt his chest get heavy. He stared into those eyes. Those light green eyes that looked gentle and deceiving. The intruder became furious. "Y—ou t—traitor..." he mumbled. "You fucken' bitch!! You ass whore fuck!" he yelled.
Something immediately hit his head, real hard. He immediately dropped his head and his vision became black.
He then released the intruder's head. He stood up, looking down at the intruder's body. Shall I dispose him now? He thought about the intruder's betrayal and how they forced him to enter Sylpheria.
It was as if the intruder knew something that he shouldn't have and was removed.
"He was betrayed by someone he loved," the man said, "That feeling of trust is gone." He thought of things over his head. Of the man—and his child. He could ask the intruder to help his daughter escape this world and give him something in return. "Maybe he could be the one to lead her to freedom. To the outside world from the core of Sylpheria and Sylpheria itself."
