AN: Alright, this is going to be long. I didn't want to bog down my summary so here we go. Obviously this is an interactive book. There will be several choices throughout. I'll try to get the choices up as fast as I can, but sometimes it may take awhile because I have a really good idea for a different branch. I will definitely try to keep them fairly even. This first section will always be the same (obviously) and it will most likely be the longest section because it includes the entire backstory. I will try to put enough choices that you feel like an active participant (also some choices may lead to back to other choices ie: eat the cake or cut the cake. You chose cut, which may lead to eating the cake. Understand?), but not so many that there are six million different endings. The links will appear at the bottom near the choices as I post them, so bear with me. Oh yes, and just a little side note, some choices will dead end pretty quickly (just thought I'd let you guys know) Hope you enjoy it and thank you for reading my long rant (I promise there won't be many more ;). ^_^

You must be wondering why you're curled up on this bench sobbing and gasping for just a little more air. I guess you could also be wondering why you're wearing only a T-shirt and shorts despite the torrential downpour. You haven't got an umbrella or anything else for that matter. Let me back track just a few weeks to jog your memory.

People always told you there is always hope. Yeah, too bad they're wrong. Everyone you love or get near dies. Your mother died in labor, your father died overseas, and your older sister has cancer. Your best friend was killed by a semi in a horrible wreck that also killed her little sister and her father.

I guess I should tell you more about yourself. You live with your grandmother (your grandfather is also dead) and she can barely afford to pay the bills because of your sister's incredibly high medical bills. Your sister can't leave the hospital, ever. She has a brain tumor and it is totally inoperable. You go there everyday after school and her face lights up when she sees you. She told you your visits are the highlight of her day.

At school, the other children call you the harbinger of death. When they come near you, they make a cross with their fingers as though you're a demon and that will fend you off. Oh I forgot to mention, you're a junior in high school and you have no friends. They're all too scared of you.

The worst death that you caused with your cursed love was that of your first crush. You think he liked you back, but I suppose you'll never know. You were at the beach with your grandmother and your sister (this was before she got cancer) and you dared him to a contest. A contest in which you dive under the water and hold your breath as long as you can.

A wave rolled over you two as you dove. You bobbed back up almost instantly, Harley did not. His hand got wrapped up in some seaweed. By the time he wrenched it free, he was unconscious. You grabbed him and swam to shore as fast as you could, but you were just a little kid. You didn't make it in time. He drowned.

Your sister's condition got worse by the day. About three days ago, she stopped smiling when you came by and she slept through most of your visits. Today you came in and she was cold as ice. The doctor walked in and he said, "I'm sorry." You ran home not looking up from the sidewalk once. This couldn't happen again. It just couldn't. It wasn't fair.

You threw open the door to your house and your grandmother was sprawled on the floor at the bottom of the stairs with the phone in her hand. You wrenched it from her weak grip and dialed 911. The ambulance came and took her, but they pronounced her DOA (dead on arrival). They wanted to call social services and have them take you away. You didn't want to be a ward of the state, so you ran from the hospital.

I think that's everything. Now you're sitting here unable to stop your tears and rid yourself of this pain. You could think of only one solution. "Kill me god! Kill me now! Smite me with your lightning!" You say all this still sobbing so much that you doubt God would have been able to understand you. Then, you see the boy. He is walking toward you with eyes so bright they stand out even in this dark storm. They are green and seem to glow.

"That's a horrible thing to ask God to do." You stare at him and don't respond. "It hurts him pretty badly when his children wish for death. Ah, but where are my manners? I'm Cameron, your guardian angel." He reaches out his hand for you to shake. As you grab his hand, his wings appear. I don't mean they unfurled. They appeared out of apparently nowhere. One second no wings, the next bam, they were there.

"Oh," you gasp, unable to contain your shock. He laughs as he let your hand go. It falls limply to the side.

"I see your a bit shell-shocked. It happens quite often, so don't worry. It's quite the shock to see your very first angel. Unfortunately, most people wait until they die." You blink your eyes and shake your head as you try to regain control over this odd encounter.

"So what are you here for? Are you going to show me my pathetic excuse for a life and tell me there is hope? Tell me I should live," you say testily. You don't want this angel to make you see how great your awful life has been.

"Where there's life, there's hope, but I'm not here to convince you of that. I'm here to make sure you make the right decision. I will show you the good and bad of your past and of the future you will have should you chose to stay on this path you are currently on. Then you will decide if you want to live or die."

You look at his face studying his features, searching for the truth. "You're going to show me my future?"

"Yes, your current one. The future is subject to change by small decisions you make, but I will show you your future as it currently will be." He holds out his hand for you to take. "You just have to trust me and grab my hand.

B)Do nothing: http://www.booksie.com/fantasy/novel/zadudet1/its-your-choice:-live-or-die/chapter/2

AN: I know, I know. Another author's note, but I just want to say if you put your choice down in the comments I will tell you when your choice is posted. ^_^ (This will be true of all other chapters.) Also I will name the chapters weird things like A1 and C3. Please ignore this; it's just for my use. ^_^

P.S. Do you know how hard it is to find a picture that is not gender bias? I eventually went with the "classic" empty bench picture.

P.P.S. Unfortunately, I cannot get the links to work, so you will have to type it in manually. I know, I'm sorry. If someone could tell me how to do it I would, but when I linked it it said an error had occured. >_<</span>

P.P.P.S. One more thing I feel I must add. There may be times (still not sure if it will happen or not thus the may) when it is not a The End, but there is only one choice. That of course is pending on if such a thing is needed. ^_^
