The Ocarina Ruins
There were six Orks, two of them had pressed daggers against Misam and Timaneus’s throat. Then they put their arms around their throats and lifted them off their feet. Misam gave a hoarse cry and fought back trying to kick them. An Ork growled “None of that,” and punched him in the face, Timaneus quickly devised a plan, growling he moved his elbow forward then jabbed it into the Orks stomach quickly. The Ork grunted bending over and grasping his stomach. Timaneus delivered a knee to his head as the Ork fell backwards. Timaneus moved forward and finished him with a round-house kick. The Ork had several broken bones now and fell back tumbling to the floor. Timaneus unsheathed his jewablade and charged to help Misam. Four Orks jumped in front of him, they roared and three more came. As much as he hated to admit, seven Orks were way beyond his limit. Misam croaked “Go! Escape leave me!” The Ork advanced and Timaneus back off, he was out of ideas. Misam’s idea was logical though, if he escaped then maybe he could come back and save Misam. “I’ll be back!” he yelled to Misam “I swear I will!” then he took off and sprinted for a window about ten feet away from him. He reached it and climbed over it and out of the Ocarina Ruins. The slope was going down, Timaneus sprinted but the ground was muddy and he was going too quickly. He fell over and slid down the muddy slope. The Orks started chasing him, Timaneus was spinning round and round going at a tremendous speed, he saw that he was coming towards a rock. He reached out and grabbed the rock. He slowed down and came to a halt. Timaneus saw the Orks they were gaining, dizzy and tired he regained his footing and kept running. He dashed and saw some rubble at the bottom of the hill. Raising his hand and weakly yelled “Hoala!” the rubble was hurled at the Orks, three ducked but the rest found their aim. Four Orks toppled over bleeding and with massive bruises on their heads.
Timaneus quickly sprinted and got into the Natura Forest, he took a sharp left turn and bounded over a bunch of holes. He nimbly climbed up a tree and settled their uncomfortable but he was well-concealed, Timaneus took a deep breath and looked around, he saw something and cried out startled. Because right next to him was a injured peregrine falcon. He gently touched its wings, the peregrine falcon was about two feet tall, its feathers were brown with some grey feathers, its eyes were closed and its had a big cut on its chest. Timaneus didn’t really know much about them except, they were the fastest animal in the world, reaching speeds of three hundred kilometres per hour when diving, normal flying was usually around seventy kilometres per hour. Timaneus lifted the bird and listened to see if the Orks were still there. He though they weren’t so he jumped down and walked away trying to find Fleur and Norman, It took him around two hours, the Natura Forests were huge brimming with life. The trees were lush green, blossoms and roses grew on the grass. Many animals happily were living in their nest and burrows. Fleur and Norman were grazing and looking anxiously at the Ocarina Ruins, Timaneus moved over and took the saddlebag. Fleur reared and turned around, “It okay its me,” reassured Timaneus taking out the medical case and cleaning the falcon’s wound then he bandaged it and took some branches and fallen leaves and constructed a small shelter for it. He lifted it and placed it inside. Timaneus sat back exhausted and leaned against the tree, I need to rescue Misam soon he thought.
But he needed a plan, Timaneus racked his brains for a plan. The Ocarina Ruins were pretty heavily armed. He couldn’t just barge in, he’d need some sort of long-range weapon so if he did meet a big pack of Orks he possibly could take some out before using his blade. If he used magic he would get exhausted so it wouldn’t work, a bow wouldn’t work either. Timaneus wasn’t good with a bow and where in the world would he get one, I need something small and something that is easy to get. Bored Timaneus took a stick and started bending it and then he snapped it. He grabbed another stick and an idea came to him. Timaneus searched around for some other stick and found three, he piled them up and tied them together with some spare rope he’d found in Misam’s saddlebag. Timaneus pointed his finger at the tied up sticks and murmured “Tigha!” the rope tightened and then sticks slowly merged together forming one stick. Timaneus threw the rope off and examined the stick. He tried to snap it with his hands but it was pretty strong and didn’t snap. Smiling he grabbed his jewablade and chipped away at bits of the stick. He chipped away until the stick was Y-shaped. Timaneus said “Fleur do you think it would be alright if I took a bit of horsehair from you?” Fleur looked at him then continued chomping at grass. Gently Timaneus tugged at one of the thicker strand of horse hair. Fleur whinnied and moved around a bit. He tied the horsehair to each northern end of the stick and tightened it. In his hands Timaneus was looking at a make-shift slingshot.
It probably would only shoot about five metres but Timaneus reckoned it would do. A slingshot was a boy’s toy but it was exactly what he needed now. Timaneus picked up a stone and placed it on the horsehair and pulled back then let go. The stone shot off and hit a tree about three metres away. Timaneus placed the slingshot on the ground and walked out of the forest. He stared around on the hill was the Ocarina Ruins and fast approaching from the east was, Timaneus swore because Misam had be caught Timaneus had forgotten about the Ork with the plans. He dashed back into the camp and quickly saddled Fleur he grabbed his jewablade and rode out of the camp. Timaneus rode ferociously and soon he burst out and was heading towards the Ork. The Ork saw him and nimbly jumped off his boar. He threw his club to the ground and drew his sword. Timaneus took this as a challenge and drew his blade then stopped and jumped off. The Ork snarled “You think you can defeat me human I am an Ork elite a fearsome warrior a Katakana!” Timaneus shrugged “Great am I meant to be impressed?” The Katakana sneered “Your jokes, I will kill you in a single blow!” Timaneus got into a sparring stance “Go ahead,” the Katakana snorted and charged. He slashed at Timaneus’s head, Timaneus blocked the blow. Timaneus parried at blow to his head then his legs then his shoulder. Sparks flew from their blades as the Katakana and Timaneus moved across the plain trading ferocious blows.
The Katakana raised his sword over his head, Timaneus ducked under the blow then swung his legs in an arc tripping the Katakana and sending him sprawling to the ground. Timaneus recovered and raised his blade for the kill, the Ork raised his hand and uttered “Rocila!” a ball of red energy was fired into Timaneus’s stomach. Timaneus was thrown back, his stomach felt like it was on fire. He crashed down onto the rough plain sliding a few feet and then he stopped near the edge of the forest. Timaneus lay their eyes closed and trying to find the strength to get up. The Katakana lumbered over and retrieved his sword. Timaneus gave a hoarse cry and slowly got up. The Katakana glared at him, Timaneus bent over panting, the Katakana raised his sword and charged. Timaneus jumped forward and cleaved down with his jewablade. The Katakana positioned himself and did a quarter-staff parry. Timaneus’s blade hit the Katakana’s and Timaneus tried to move back the Katakana kicked him in the stomach. Timaneus’s breath was knocked out of him. He let go of his jewablade and stumbled back. His foot caught a rock and he stumbled and fell over. The Katakana laughed and slowly moved towards him. Timaneus was stuffed, he was weak and beaten and his only weapon was lying too far away to get. As the Katakana was about five feet away from him. Timaneus desperately pointed his right hand at the Katakana with his other hand holding his right hands wrist. “ROCILA!’ he yelled desperately, the Katakana’s head was blown off by the energy bolt Timaneus fired. It flew a few feet before landing on the grass smearing blood onto it. The energy ball flew into the air and evaporated. Timaneus lay on the ground panting, his vision wavered Damn He thought I shouldn’t have done that I used too magic. He struggled to stay conscious but it was futile. His head fell back and Timaneus lay there unconscious. Fleur moved over to him and nudged him with her heels, but nothing happened. Trotting back into the camp Fleur told Norman to come in horse language and together the two horses used their hooves and nudged Timaneus back into the camp slowly. Meanwhile the boar who the Katakana had ridden had headed south and went into the Natura Forest. Worst of all the plans were in a small pouch on the boar.
