Flight of Night

The Moon Passes by

Like an owl in the sky

She calls to her children down below

The wolves call to her

To keep the dark and loneliness at bay

The owl flies

Through the night skies

Searching land and sea

He calls into the night wild and free

The wolf runs

Through the soft snow

His call making the night glow

He runs and runs until his legs give out

He lays there breathing in and out

I am free he thinks

That is good enough for me

The fairies light the sky

They float through the air

The villages go by like dreams

The rivers and the hills

The forests and the streams

Flow from one night into another

The elves sing so high

Their voiced blend like the sky

They dance by the fire

Their shadows glazing by

Into the night Sky
